Background: - to create an online model of the commercial and non commercial centers of a place. Every shop, service centre, showroom etc should be present online with its products and services. Like yellow pages where the place is mentioned here the complete details of products will be mentioned along with available places where you can shop or find that product. In addition to that one will be able to see the photographs, price, relevant details of the product and customized offers.
The base of the website will be product and product categories for which we would be having solutions in form of vendors, shops, showrooms and services. These products would be linked to the available stores. If a customer goes and sees the product he may or may not like it or follow it. If any change happens in the product in terms of price, benefit or offer the customer would immediately know through an update.
Similarly if I am a promoter I would be able to send details of the products on the web even if I don’t own a shop through special offers and schemes. I can give the option of cash on delivery.
Development

Content type
Product Post:
A special content type of product / service. The product would contain the “details of the product”(limited words) , photo, product category, product and price.
Roles open to: - Vendor, Administrator
Open to comments: - Yes(by customer, vendor and admin)
Open to flag: - Yes(by customer, vendor and admin)
Product Category
Will contain the list of product categories with description and product linked to a product category. A product may be linked to more than 1 product category. Ofcourse the product categories will have many products Roles open to: - Adminsitrator
Open to comments: - No
User Preferences:
This would be for customer and would be used to check products the customer is interesting in. This would be filled by the user through a form.
The form will contain questions which would be used to arrive at the preferences of the customer through product category, product and price the customer is interested in.
User will be asked to fill 3 locations which he is interested in.
Vendor Profile
This would consist of vendor profile, information about vendor like place , city , if he has taken any package or not.
Blog
Writing of blog with option to upload photos and videos and write

Front page would contain the link to latest articles and updates
Menu tab
1) Once a customer has flagged a content type it would have separate menu tap for flagged.
2) There would be a menu for all the products basis preferences (excluding location but sorted by preferred location first)
3) Menu for the all the products and offers in the city sorted basis timeline(new arrivals) and location preferences(location preferences for a location “a” will be followed by locations near to “a” on the timeline)
4) Customized view: - one customized view which gives option of advance setting for products
Links 1) Link for special offers(sent by paid vendors)
2) Links for communication from vendors(paid for vendors)
3) Back offers given to vendors(a personalized price quote to vendor)
4) Change preferences/Settings
Product View
A customer would be able to view products in the above mentioned views. The product would consist option to - follow/unfollow a product, category or vendor; report as spam; back offer; check details of product – this would open details of product like product location, update date etc.
Rules:
Regular update mails(daily digest) on preferences
Instant mail on customized offer/special offer in case it is provided by the vendor(as pt 1 and 2)
Blocks
The customers would be allowed to view latest articles and updates on city.
Blocks would contain ads where the ads would be uploaded basis time slot
Design
1) Menu would be unique with links and tabs
2) Would require option for social log in, follow, like and tweet.
3) Theme can be a hybrid of best response
