RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

The international automotive supplier Continental AG, Hanover, placed at the end of 2003 a further production site into operation in Romania. The new location in Sibiu was meant to produce and develop electronic components for the automotive industry. The location consists in a production facility (Plant) and a research & development center (Engineering Center).

In the Plant are produced Electronic Control Units for the Automotive Industry from Powertrain, Body, Chassis and Safety business units like: Injection control for Scania Trucks, Airbag Systems, Window Lift, Electronic Parking Brakes, etc. The international automotive supplier Continental AG, Hanover, placed at the end of 2003 a further production site into operation in Romania. The main focus of Engineering Center is to develop and test electronic control units for Automotive Industries like: ABS, ESP, Engine Control units, Airbag systems, Dumping Control Units, Transmission Systems etc. The competences within Engineering Center are: embedded software, PC software, electronics, mechanics and hydraulics.
