You took the PSAT test on October 14, 2015 which is used to predict if you are on target for taking the SAT test during your 11th grade year. The SAT and MME tests are state assessments that are given to all juniors across Michigan in the spring and is a graduation requirement for Fitzgerald High School.

PSAT will convert your raw scores (number of correct answers) for each test: Reading, Writing and Language, and Mathematics, and convert it to a scale score. The scale scores are compiled for an overall composite score. A composite score is one of the components colleges use for admissions (many companies request it too). The table below shows your scale scores for each part of the PSAT and your overall composite score. At this time we do not have proficiency scores to indicate what a Proficient score on the PSAT will be for Michigan. We do know that the range of scores that you could receive as your PSAT Composite Score is between 400 and 1600. The higher your score, the better you performed on the PSAT.

Please see your teachers if you have any questions about your PSAT scores. If you would like to check out a test copy from the Media Center to go over your answers and the questions please see Mrs. Akins in the Media Center before or after school.
