Work experience 2013 - Present Customer Service Supervisor in the British Council, Muscat. My main responsibilities include supervising all customer-related issues. I supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in customer service activities. I observe and evaluate workers' performance. I communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work. I make recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures. I am also involved in staff recruitment and appraisals as well as training staff to deliver a high standard of customer service.

2012 (Jan – Dec) Customer Service Officer in the British Council, Muscat. My responsibilities include handling all sorts of correspondence and communication with customers. I identify, research and resolve all customer issues. I am responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationship with customers.

2011 - 2012 Event Sales Executive in Muscat InterContinental Hotel. My key activities include market research, sales prospecting, public relations, customer relationship management, event planning and coordination, logistics oversight, revenue management, and communications. I build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners, and leverage these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events. I gained vast and excellent experience in all elements of events planning and delivery. 2007 - Present Professional freelancer tour guide, approved by the Ministry of Tourism in Oman. Communication and interpersonal skills: Working as event sales executive, I have excellent customer relationship management and communication skills. Through my excellent and confident proactive communication, I am always pursuing new market opportunities to increase my event sales. I meet customers regularly and I always provide accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, and meeting planners. I continuously focus on improving customer satisfaction to create customer loyalty and deliver a positive event experience. I am excellent in preparing detailed event reports, including sales data worksheets, cost projections and other financial metrics. During my study, I have worked in groups such as in organizing the annual tourism exhibition in Oman.
