PC Eric Osborne
Howdy I am PC Osborne,
I first joined the British Transport Police on 29th March 2004. My first posting was on the London Under Ground (LU) based at Stockwell in their Reassurance Policing Team. After a few months, I moved to the LU Response Team at Tottenham Court Road and stayed for 2 years before moving to the Operation Support Unit for 18 months.
An opportunity arose at Ebbsfleet International to become part of their International Policing Team on the CTRL line of route which I was successful in joining. I remained at Ebbsfleet for 3 years before my skills were required at St. Pancras International. I arrived at St. Pancras in April 2011 and I have made immediate impact within my new role on the Neighbourhood Policing Team.
My current responsibility is liaising with National Car Parks (NCP), based at St. Pancras station. Due my success of reducing cycle-thefts at Ebbsfleet International, I have been given the task to continue to reduce cycle-crime at St. Pancras.
Since I’ve moved to St. Pancras Neighbourhood Team, I have taken part in a number of operations including Op. Unseen (Anti-Social Behaviour), Op. Yale (Theft of Passenger Property) and Op. Damson (Cycle-theft).
I enjoy being a member of the Neighbourhood team at St. Pancras because as St. Pancras is an International terminal this allows me to interact with all different diversities and cultures from around the world. Also I get to work alongside an excellent team of police officers.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy attending music festivals and gigs. I’m also an avid fan of boxing and like to educate myself about art, architecture, Buddhism, Native American Spirituality and Nature. I also like to relax while listening to Stevie Wonder, I enjoy also eating fine food and drinking fine wine.
