AWARDS AND FELLOWSHIPS

Certificate of Excellent and Ideal Girl for 5 years undergraduate students.  Excelence in dedication and service and for outstanding mentoring and ethics of students.

Egyptian Governmental Graduate Scholarship to obtain my PhD from USA, 2012-2016.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying infectious agents-host interactions, focusing on the mechanisms underlying immune evasion that contribute to the microorganism’s virulence and disease pathogenesis. In addition, Survillance of new emerging infectious agents specially viruses through developments of Diagnostic Kits and Reagents. My ultimate goal in studying virus-host interactions is to translate the basic knowledge generated with these studies into improved vaccines and/or vaccine vectores for disease prevention and control. Using the application of antiviral and anticancer drugs in controlling new infectios agents and cancer.
