4. Review of Goals for AT Committee for 2014-2015

This past year, we wanted to: provide more PD, expand our AT knowledge, have AT team members share new knowledge, coach the locals, further explore the SETT framework

The team feels like we accomplished quite a bit! “We are awesome!!” Prioritized Goals:

1 Publicize Premier Literacy (start with PD committee members? Tina to support/promote in gen ed?) – establish a goal for student use, take data on current use and end of the year use

2 Establish a training ASAP!!

-target secondary level students (middle school/high school); Portage wouldn’t likely be a target since they primarily use Kurzweil

-set a ‘WebEx’ with Premier (Michele G. will talk with local directors regarding Oct. PD/records day as a potential web-training day; based on that information, she will contact Premier)

-Micah will follow-up with IT regarding copies of Premier on USBs/discs (10 copies?)

Create PowerPoint and checklist for locals regarding AT resources and tools available (lending library information, tips for using the SETT Framework, etc.)

[ongoing] Offer help to IEP teams within the county that struggle with specific cases in which we can support the use of the SETT framework for determining AT needs/tools (based on local submissions) – teams would attend and we would work through the SETT framework with them.

7 Infiltrate the locals with the SETT Framework (pairs of people from the AT team going into the locals to present to various departments within each district/local building)

8 Create a place on the website for local teams to submit a request for the AT committee to work through the SETT with them. (website committee)
