We welcome you to our service today, May 10, 2015, and invite you to join us in worship. Our message today: “Things Every Christian Should Know #5—The Plan of Salvation,” Romans 10:5-17, Tim McAvoy preaching.

Midweek Service: This August, NBC will be hosting the Global Leadership Summit. The GLS is an outreach of Willow Creek Church in South Barrington, IL and is designed to impart principles of leadership from many of today’s top innovators in their fields. This is an exciting opportunity as NBC is one of the few churches in our region that will be a host sight. On Wednesday, May 20, we will be watching one of the leadership sessions from a previous summit. As always, we will have a fellowship meal beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed by teaching and activities for all ages. Please check your connection card or reply to the evite in your email inbox.

Ladies’ Afternoon of Worship - Soaking in God's Presence. Please join us Next Sunday, May 17th at 4 p.m. at the church for a ladies’ tea and an afternoon of worship. Bring your favorite tea cup and finger sandwiches, petite hors d’oeuvres, or bite size desserts to share. We ask that all food be brought to Sunday morning services and left in the kitchen. Look for the invitation in your mailbox or on the table in the foyer. All ladies welcome!

The Bible in 90 Days: NBC will be joining with other churches in our region this summer to read through the Bible in 90 days. Spearheaded by Scripture Awakening this approach to Bible application has proven to enrich people’s understanding and appreciation for Scripture guides are available on the table next to the sound booth and other resources can be found at www.scriptureawakening.com. There are reading plans for children and youth as well. Please check your connection card if you plan to participate. A kick off rally is planned for Sunday evening at Massanetta Springs Event Center, Sunday evening May 31st.

We express our heartfelt condolences to Patrick & Ali Snook for the loss of his grandfather.

A baptism at the river with carry-in meal is planned for Sunday, June 14, following the second service. Bring 2-3 dishes to share and your lawn chairs. If you desire believer’s baptism, please mark your Connection Card or let Pastor Reuben or Pastor Chris know. Chris and Melody Riddle will be sharing about their mission experiences in Italy next Sunday, May 17, in the adult class at 9:50 a.m.They have some exciting stories to share!

2015 High School Graduates: If you know anyone graduating from High School this year who attends NBC, please mark their name and where they are graduating from on your Connection Card.

King’s Kids Children’s Church meets during the main worship service for ages 4 through Grade 5. King’s Kids this week will be learning about how stories in Genesis affect our lives today.
