Corporate Member 2008 REGIONAL INDUSTRY SEMINARS

At the request of the Industry Advisory Committee of the New York School Nutrition Association and with the assistance of NYS OGS Food Distribution and Warehousing, NYSNA is holding its Regional Industry Seminars. Again this year, we are holding all the seminars within a two (2) week period to try to reduce expenses and travel for company representatives flying in for the seminars. Although the focus of the seminars is on commodities, any corporate member is welcome to take this opportunity to showcase products to our Food Service Directors and Managers. So that the Directors may more easily compare products, each commodity processor will be placed in a “Commodity Processors Row”. As a processor, if you normally take a table with your broker, please note that your table will now be in a special location separate from your broker although your broker may work your table. Your table must have YOUR COMPANY name on it. This will require all participating processors to be corporate members. Also, each processor will need to label each commodity item displayed on the table with the code number on the survey form so Directors are easily able to distinguish the items they would like to order. Please prepare your processed items using raw product most similar to the government commodity provided to you through diversion i.e. having the same percentage of fat. Please plan to prepare cooked products for sampling. The fee for exhibiting will be $240 per table on Long Island and $205 per table at the remaining locations. The facilities are making their kitchens available for cooking as electric will be scarce with priority going to companies displaying computer equipment, beverage machines and commodities. To keep food warm, we encourage you to bring sternos as you may not be able to use heat lamps.

TO RESERVE SPACE: SEND A COPY OF THE SECOND PAGE OF THIS FORM, WITH YOUR CHECK MADE OUT TO NYSNA AND MAIL TO THE ADDRESS BELOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – DEFINITELY BY DECEMBER 31. WE ARE RESERVING SPACE NOW. EACH SEMINAR HAS LIMITED SPACE AND WHEN IT IS SOLD OUT, RESERVATIONS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED. SPACE MAY NOT BE RESERVED WITHOUT PAYMENT. NYSNA TAKES CREDIT CARDS NOW!

IF YOU PLAN TO USE ELECTRIC, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN EXTENSION CORD!!!
