We would like to hire up to 82 chef and hospitality students to work the 150 Anniversary Gala for Iolani School on Saturday, October 12th from 4 PM to 9 PM. Number of guests at the gala will be up to 1400.
Here are the details:
1. Iolani School – location of the event will be the Iolani Football field under a large gala tent
2) Job Descriptions
• 32 KCC chef students in 8 restaurant stations to push out VIP food 4 KCC workers at eight(8) restaurants = 32 workers Must have excellent knowledge of plated food presentation Must be able to work fast with a team
• 28 KCC chef students in 13 restaurant stations to support chefs in pushing out food for 1000 guests o 2 KCC workers x 14 restaurants = 28 workers o Must be able to take directions and work fast with a team o Must have good knowledge of how to quickly plate up with attention to detail
• 22 KCC hospitality students guide lines at each food station o 22 KCC workers to guide restaurant lines so they move fast o Must be able to give clear directions with a friendly smile o Must be able to be efficient and effective in controlling lines
3) Qualifications for Positions
60 Chef Students must have very good cooking skills and be quick at execution. These individuals will be producing a high volume of food in a short amount of time.
22 Hospitality Student must have excellent communication skills and be efficient and effective in moving large amounts of people through lines.
4) Work hours: 5 PM to 9 PM on Saturday, October 12th
5) Pay: $10 per hour.
