Illustrated and Annotated World War II

1. Label the events from the lecture notes on a timeline. Dates should be available, but if not, please use the resources available (textbooks, internet) to acquire them. Be specific with at least the month and year that an event occurred or began. Start with Invasion of Ethiopia and end with VJ Day.

2. The timeline must be in chronological order (meaning in the correct order of each event from the earliest date to the latest date)

3. Create a visual for each event. You can draw this or print on of the internet; pictures do NOT need to be in color.

4. Create a hashtag or slogan for each event that describes what happened a. Ex: Italy Invades Ethiopia - #RebuildingtheRomanEmpireOnePoorAfricanNationatATime

5. Write one paragraph explaining the causes of WWII. Must be in SUTW style and be a minimum of 11 sentences.

6. Write one paragraph explaining the effects of WWII. Be sure that you include the human and financial tolls of the war as well as the political effects (ex – division of Germany, etc…)
