SPECIAL NOTICE

On Tuesday, April 8, 2014, the Office of Mineral Resources on behalf of the State Mineral and Energy Board advertised in the “The Notice of Publication” for receipt of sealed bids on or before noon on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 for State Leases to be awarded upon Tracts 43881 through 43927, inclusive, at its May 7, 2014 Lease Sale. Within the said advertisement was an incorrect description. By Virtue of this public notice, Tract No. 43920, St. Helena Parish was incorrectly advertised and is hereby corrected read as follows:

TRACT 43920 - St. Helena Parish, LOUISIANA All land, LESS AND EXCEPT land now or formerly constituting the beds and bottoms of any water body of whatever description and nature, all belonging to the State of Louisiana located within the geographical boundaries of the Hutchinson Creek WMA and not presently under mineral lease by the State of Louisiana as of May 14, 2014, the area of which is set forth as follows: 1980 Kentwood, 1981 Greensburg, 1981 Liverpool, and 181 Roseland LA 7.5 feet Quadrangles PARISH (ES): St. Helena Parish STATE ACREAGE: Approximately 129.00 acres, all as more particularly outlined on a plat on file in the Office of Mineral Resources, Department of Natural Resources. All bearings, distances and coordinates are based on Louisiana Coordinate System of 1927, (North or South Zone).

NOTE: The above description of the Tract nominated for lease has been provided and corrected, where required, exclusively by the nomination party. Any mineral lease selected from this Tract and awarded by the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board shall be without warranty of any kind, either express, implied, or statutory, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Should the mineral lease awarded by the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board be subsequently modified, cancelled or abrogated due to the existence of conflicting leases, operating agreements, private claims or other future obligations or conditions which may affect all or any portion of the leased Tract, it shall not relieve the Lessee of the obligation to pay any bonus due thereon to the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board, nor shall the Louisiana State Mineral and Energy Board be obligated to refund any consideration paid by the Lessor prior to such modification, cancellation, or abrogation, including, but not limited to, bonuses, rentals and royalties.

NOTE: No surface activities will be allowed on this tract.

NOTE: This is an Agency Tract and ordinarily, bonus, rentals and royalty payments are made to the agency. However, due to an agreement between the State and WL&F, all payments are to be made to the Office of Mineral Resources.

NOTE: There will be a minimum bonus of $150 per acre and a minimum royalty of 25%.
