Featured were Johnie Faren on drums, Richard Drexler on piano and the bass player Dan DeLorenzo.

Saturday August 5th, 2006 Catherine was featured with the Johnie Faren Jazz Quartet appearing at Franchesco's located in The Sinatra Room at 2404 Perryville Road, Rockford, IL from 6:30PM to 10:30PM.

Thursdays in August (3rd &10th), 2006 Catherine appeared with pianist Richard Drexler at Vesuvio Cafe located at 2 Westbrook Corporate Center in Westchester, IL from 7:00PM to 11:00PM.

Sunday July 23rd, 2006 Catherine was invited to guest with Curtis Fuller and the Louis Hayes Quintet at Chicago's Jazz Showcase singing one of several Fuller-authored songs of which she wrote/published the lyrics. The quintet also featured Ivan Taylor on acoustic bass, Jonathan Batiste at the piano and Maurice Brown on trumpet.

Friday June 16th, 2006 Catherine's all-original-music quintet, Timm's Sister's Band, appeared at T. C. Sports Bar & Eatery (a.k.a. TC's Pub) located at 9700 South Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL.

On First Thursdays each month in 2006, Catherine appeared at Keegan's Pub 10618 South Western Avenue, Chicago (Beverly neighborhood) IL from 9PM to Midnight, with her all original music jazz/blues/pop quintet under the guise of "Timm's Sister's Band", named for her boisterous brother Tim Brady, a permanent fixture there. The sidemen were Rich Marcisz on lead guitar, Ron Overcash on bass guitar/vocals, Freddie Sontag on drums and Rick Watters on occasional flugelhorn and trumpet.

Tuesday April 4th, 2006 The Catherine Whitney Quintet appeared at The United Center in Chicago to do a pre-game show opener for the Chicago Bulls basketball team.

Saturday March 25th, 2006 Catherine completed an engagement at the Villa Verone Ristorante Italiano located at 416 Hamilton Street Geneva, IL in the "Upper Club" lounge. She was accompanied by "The Chicago Piano Man" Dave Green and Mel Davis on drums. She began performing at this venue on October 8th, 2005.

Saturday January 7, 2006 Catherine's Quartet appeared at The United Center in Chicago to do a pre-game show opener for the Chicago Bulls basketball team.
