Hello fellow golfers! Paul Wiese and I wanted to send you a tourney summary note, about 2 weeks before the 3rd Annual Kentucky Bluegrass Regional. Feel free to print this note as it should contain every detail you'll need for the trip. We need one final reply from each of you to complete our planning. Since every player and coach is offered a free massage at the course, we need to get a headcount and set up a schedule. There will be 3 massage therapists donating their time and skills to get out any last minute cricks or tension areas before tee off on Sunday. To get everyone in, we'll ask them to setup by 10:30am and slots will be first come first served. Last year we had to beat a couple coaches out the way so their player could get in! (we know, it's always the coaches fault). I plan to also post this document on the USBGA web page www.usblindgolf.com under the Tournament-Kentucky page, so even if you forget it, those with smart phones or computers can look it up anytime. Lastly, my cell phone will be on, so call me anytime during the trip if you have questions: Ty's Cell is 859-321-5299

D) Tee Times and Format: We will be playing a Stableford scoring system. This was used in the past two years for both Regional events and helped with pace of play. In this system, no stroke scoring is done, only points awarded for play on each hole. Specifically, Strokes Stableford Points Eagle 14 Birdie 8 Par 5 Bogey 3 Double Bogey 2 Triple Bogey 1 Quadruple Bogey 0

Players pick up and move to the next hole when reaching 4 strokes above par, as no points are awarded. Everett Davis easily converts these into scores for your IBGA handicap, so each player should get two additional scores towards their handicap for the competing in the 2013 Nationals and any IBGA events. Tee times begin promptly and are spaced at 8 minute intervals. Below are the Tee-Times for First Round. On the Final Round, the pairings will be left at hotel counter by 7am.

Pairings for First Round: Sunday, Sept. 22nd We have tried to accommodate all special request and hope we didn't miss any. Even so, this is not fixed in stone, so if everyone is there and would like to pair up differently we can work it out, we'd just like to keep the pairings as a Vision Impaired with a Total. If you are really popular, we will work it out on the Final day! No worries here in Kentucky!
