Set 18 years after Charmed Season 8, based around Wyatt and Chris. Wyatt is now 21 and Chris is 18. There is also 16-year-old Prudence Melinda. Demons haven’t caused many problems over the past few years, but it hasn’t stopped the boys from preparing, just in case. Suspicions rise when a top business man is found murdered, and an athame is found at the crime scene. Meanwhile, in the underworld, a new Source has been created, after marrying a witch. And to top it all off, the Source’s bride is Paige’s charge and Wyatt has fallen for the Source’s powerful daughter, who’s not all she seems.

Episode 2: The Charmed Ones learn they have to leave WYATT, CHRIS and PRUDENCE to take over now. They are attacked by a demon, and the potion that was meant to kill him makes him stronger. EBONY is still presumed to be captured and WYATT takes on the demon hoping to find her.

1. INT UNDERWORLD. CAVERN THE SOURCE and LYNDSEY are sat on their thrones. DAMIEN is stood next to them. EBONY is stood in front of them, facing them.

EBONY So, if he thinks I’m captured then he’ll come looking for me.

DAMIEN You don’t know that.

EBONY Trust me, I do.

SOURCE Don’t interrupt her, Damien

EBONY And, when he comes after me you can grab him. That way, you have me and I don’t have to stay another day in Magic School.

LYNDSEY So, she does have brains as well as beauty.

SOURCE I’m impressed, what made you think of it?

EBONY When I found out one of your demons told the Charmed Ones about you. I knew I’d have to do something too. It also makes them think they’re under attack more.

DAMIEN That plan will never work. And you know that.

SOURCE I think she’s onto something there.

EBONY smirks at DAMIEN.

CUT TO – INT HALLIWELL MANOR. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT. PIPER, LEO, CHRIS and PRUDENCE are sat around.

CHRIS Do you think it was just a one off?

LEO I think it was a one off to see if they could get in. Now that they’ve got in they’ll be in and out as many times as they want.

PIPER They’ll take over again.

LEO And we don’t want that.

PRUEDENCE So what are you going to do?

LEO I’m going to have to close it down until Wyatt can check his protection spell

CHRIS And you know he’s only going to be bothered about Ebony.

PIPER Not if it’s at the cost of other witches.

WYATT and PHOEBE orb in.

PIPER Phoebe? PHOEBE I need to talk to you both.

LEO Did you get a premonition?

PHOEBE Kitchen, now.

PHOEBE, PIPER and LEO exit.

PRUDENCE What happened?

WYATT I don’t know. Aunt Phoebe got a premonition and then she didn’t talk to me. All she wanted was to be orbed over here.

CHRIS It must have been bad then.

CUT TO – MANOR. KITCHEN. NIGHT. PIPER, PHOEBE and LEO are stood around.

PIPER Wyatt?

PHOEBE Yes Wyatt.

PIPER Are you sure?

PHOEBE Piper, I know you don’t want to believe me about this, but I’ve been having premonition of 25 years now.

PIPER I know, Phoebe, I just…

LEO You saw Wyatt?

PHOEBE Yes. I saw a young girl tied up and a demon stabbing Wyatt.

LEO I’m guessing the girl is Ebony. PHOEBE takes LEO’S hand and gets the premonition again. We see from LEO’S eyes that he saw the premonition

PIPER Leo?

LEO It’s Wyatt.

PHOEBE Do you…

PIPER No, don’t show me. I don’t want to see him die.

LEO What are we going to do?

They hear a crash o.s and a scream

PHOEBE What was that?

CUT TO – MANOR. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT. A DEMON is in the house. CHRIS is on the other side of the room, getting off the floor. PIPER, PHOEBE and LEO enter PRUDENCE uses her power of electricity to shock the demon, but the demon gets through it and hits her to the floor. WYATT moves a lamp telekinetically, which hits the demon over the head. The demon faces WYATT, as WYATT calls for Excalibur. The demon laughs and shimmers out. WYATT makes Excalibur disappear.

PIPER What was that?

CUT TO – OPENING CREDITS

CUT TO – PREVIOUS SCENE. WYATT is healing PRUDENCE. CHRIS is standing up, holding his head.

PHOEBE What happened?

CHRIS Some demon just shimmered in here. I don’t know then.

WYATT You want healing too?

CHRIS I’m fine.

PRUDENCE sits up

WYATT Careful.

PRUDENCE What happened? Where’s the demon?

PIPER He’s gone, darling.

LEO Are you ok?

PRUDENCE I’m fine. Why didn’t my power work?

WYATT He was just strong enough to push past it.

PRUDENCE Did you kill him?

WYATT He shimmered out.

CHRIS Yeah, looks like Wyatt was useless too.

PHOEBE You know it’s not a competition between the two of you.

CHRIS I know, it’s just…never mind.

PIPER Maybe we should get Paige, get the power of three back together.

LEO You know, maybe it’s not up to you three anymore. Maybe it’s for these three. PRUDENCE And Patty and…

PHOEBE Whoa! My girls aren’t getting into this.

PIPER Thanks Phoebe.

PHOEBE They’re too young. Patty’s only 15, she’s not old enough, not yet.

LEO She’s right Piper.

PIPER I know. I still don’t think Prue is old enough…

PRUEDENCE Mom!

CHRIS I’m going to go to bed. Sleep off this headache.

PIPER Prue, can you go up to the attack and check the Book of Shadows to see if the demon’s in there?

PRUEDENCE Sure.

PRUDENCE and CHRIS exit

WYATT I’ll go and…

PIPER No, Wyatt, there’s something I want to tell you.

PHOEBE You’re going to tell him?

LEO Piper.

PIPER I’m not keeping it from him.

WYATT Keeping what? PIPER Your Aunt Phoebe had a premonition.

WYATT Yeah, I know.

PIPER Well it was…it was…

LEO It was of Ebony.

WYATT Really.

LEO She was chained against a wall.

WYATT I’ve got to go find her before anything happens.

PHOEBE Wyatt, that’s not all.

WYATT What is it?

PHOEBE Well, there was a demon there and you…and…

WYATT I was killed, wasn’t I?

PIPER Honey, that doesn’t mean…

WYATT I know. C’mon, Aunt Phoebe had a premonition that there was going to be a world of no demons and that didn’t happen did it?

LEO Well…

WYATT Look, I’ll be careful. I always am. And now, I’ll be extra careful. I’m gonna go and help Prue.

WYATT exits PHOEBE He took that a little too well.

CUT TO – INT UNDNERWORLD. EBONY’S BEDROOM. The room is like a normal girly room, apart from it being in the underworld. EBONY is sat at her dressing table. The DEMON enters

EBONY How did it go?

DEMON You were right, he can call for Excalibur.

EBONY Good. Anything else that I should know about?

DEMON The girl, she can produce electricity from her hands.

EBONY Really, now I didn’t know that. I only knew she could freeze time.

DEMON I’m not sure about the brother. He was knocked out too easily.

EBONY That’s fine, thank you.

DEMON Anything else?

EBONY Not yet. Be careful now, they’ll be after you. Make sure you stay in hiding until I call for you.

DEMON Yes your highness.

CUT TO – MAGIC SCHOOL. LEO’S OFFICE. DAY. LEO is sat behind his desk. RALPH’S parents are sat at the other side.

RALPH’S MOM So you’re telling me that a demon got in here and killed my baby? LEO Mrs Costa I’m very sorry. We have a protection spell on this place…

RALPH’S DAD Obviously not a very good one.

LEO This is the first attack we’ve had in 18 years, Mr Costa, we weren’t expecting it.

RALPH’S MOM I knew we shouldn’t have let him come here.

LEO With respect, you son was a very powerful witch, I don’t understand why he couldn’t do anything about it. Another student has gone missing too, they’re both linked.

RALPH’S MOM I don’t care about any other students. I only care about my boy.

RALPH’S DAD You have children, don’t you Mr Wyatt.

LEO Yes Sir.

RALPH’S DAD You’ve never lost one of them to evil have you.

LEO Actually, I have.

RALPH’S DAD Oh.

LEO I know exactly what you’re going through…and I’m sorry nothing could be done to save him.

CUT TO – INT HALLIWELL MANOR. ATTIC. DAY. CHRIS is looking through the Book of Shadows, while PRUDENCE makes potions.

CHRIS I think you have the wrong demon.

PRUDENCE No I don’t.

CHRIS I’m sure this wasn’t the one.

PRUDENCE You were knocked out before me. We’ll ask Wyatt when he gets home.

PIPER enters

PIPER Right, I’m going to the restaurant to sort some books out. Are you sure you two will be ok alone?

CHRIS Mom, we’ll be fine. We can handle our powers.

PIPER Ok. Don’t go for the demon until Wyatt gets back.

PRUEDENCE Yes mom.

PIPER exits

PRUEDENCE She is far too fussy.

CHRIS It’s because you’re still her child.

PRUEDENCE No, it’s because you’re useless. I mean you couldn’t even use your powers last night.

CHRIS He came in from behind me. I didn’t have a chance.

PRUEDENCE Oh well, potions are done. There’s two for each of us just in case the same thing happens.

CUT TO – INT PARK. DAY. PAIGE and LYNDSEY are sat on a bench.

LYNDSEY How can I protect my children if I can’t protect myself?

PAIGE You’re doing great, Lyndsey. You just need to be sure of yourself.

LYNDSEY How are you so patient?

PAIGE It comes with the magic I think.

LYNDSEY But, why are you always looking over me? Don’t you have others you should be looking over?

PAIGE I look over them too. But, at the moment you seem to need me more. Later on, we’ll go over to mine and you can practise your powers without your husband being around.

LYNDSEY He hates me using them. Did you find that with your husband?

PAIGE He didn’t hate me using them, but he didn’t understand them. I think that may be the problem with your husband.

CUT TO – INT UNDERGROUND. WYATT, CHRIS and PRUDENCE are walking around the underground. They stumbling into the demon’s layer. The demon jumps out.

DEMON It’s you.

PRUDENCE Yep, it’s us.

CUT TO – COMMERCIAL BREAK

CUT TO INT UNDERWORLD. AS BEFORE CHRIS throws his potion. The demon takes in the potion and then looks at them and laughs. The demon walks to CHRIS and hits him. CHRIS flies into the wall.

WYATT That was meant to kill him, not make him stronger, Prue. THE demon walks to WYATT and grabs him by the throat. Prudence panics and freezes the scene. WYATT struggles out of the demon’s grasp.

PRUDENCE I don’t know how long this will last, let’s get out of here.

WYATT and PRUDENCE run to CHRIS. WYATT orbs everyone out. The demon unfreezes. He notices they have gone and laughs.

CUT TO – INT HALLIWELL MANOR. ATTIC. DAY. WYATT orbs in. PRUDENCE walks to the Book of Shadows while WYATT heals CHRIS.

WYATT You totally mixed the wrong potions there, Prue.

PRUDENCE I know. I don’t know what went wrong. I followed the book.

CHRIS sits up

CHRIS What happened?

WYATT The demon knocked you out again. Prue decided to make him stronger rather than kill him.

PRUDENCE It was an accident.

WYATT An accident that nearly cost our lives.

PRUDENCE I froze him to get us out of there, didn’t I?

WYATT walks to the door

CHRIS Where are you going?

WYATT To see mom.

WYATT exits. CHRIS (shouting) She’s at the restaurant.

PRUDENCE I’ll fix the potion.

CHRIS I told you, you had the wrong demon. We’ll have another look again.

PRUDENCE You’re not gonna shout at me.

CHRIS No, I know you just made a mistake. We’re all learning. Wyatt’s been using his powers longer than you have, just try to be careful next time, ok?

PRUDENCE Thanks Chris.

CUT TO – RESTAURANT. KITCHEN. DAY. There are chefs around the kitchen. PIPER is checking on one of the chefs.

PIPER Ok, that’s fine. Just be careful next time. I don’t want another batch completely ruined.

CHEF Sorry Piper.

WYATT enters through the doors.

WYATT Hey mom.

PIPER Wyatt, what are you doing here?

WYATT I need to talk to you. It’s about Prue.

PIPER (scared) What’s happened?

WYATT She’s fine, well, luckily. She messed up. PIPER Come with me.

CUT TO – PIPER’S OFFICE. DAY. PIPER and WYATT enter

PIPER What happened?

WYATT The potion she made, it was wrong. It didn’t kill the demon, it made him stronger.

PIPER Ok, but you got him right?

WYATT No. I had to get both Chris and Prue out of there. I’ve had a go at her but…

PIPER Wait, why did you have a go at her?

WYATT Because she screwed up.

PIPER And you’ve never done that before? You’ll never do it in the future?

WYATT Well…

PIPER You can’t shout at her because she made one mistake, Wyatt. You need to go back find out what happened and then deal with it. Me and your Aunts can’t be here to clean up your messes anymore, you need to try and deal with it yourselves.

WYATT I know, but…

PIPER No buts. Get back to the house and help your brother and sister clean up the mess. There must be something in there that will help you.

WYATT Ok mom. PIPER No go, before this demon comes back to the house and they don’t have anyone to protect them.

WYATT rolls his eyes and orbs out. PIPER sits in her chair and sighs.

CUT TO – INT UNDERWORLD. CAVERN. THE SOURCE and LYNDSEY are sat at the chair. The DEMON is stood in front of them.

SOURCE So you think you can kill the Charmed Ones.

DEMON I can do more than that. I can kill their children too.

SOURCE And how can you do that? Demons have been trying for years. Even when they were babies, demons couldn’t kill them.

DEMON Well, it just so happens that their potion they created made me stronger rather than vanquishing me. They’re no match for me anymore.

SOURCE And what do you want from me.

DEMON When I kill them all I want a place at your side.

SOURCE Ok, when and if you kill them ALL, you may get a place at my side.

DEMON Only may?

SOURCE Well, yes, you may. Can you settle for that? After all, I don’t know if you are truly telling the truth.

DEMON You’re a wise demon, Sire.

SOURCE That’s why I’m the Source.

The DEMON bows and shimmers out.

LYNDSEY What about our plan? I thought…

SOURCE He won’t succeed. That’s why I’m using Ebony to lure Wyatt Halliwell here.

CUT TO – INT MANOR. ATTIC. DAY. PRUDENCE is making a new potion. CHRIS is stood at the Book of Shadows.

CHRIS You know there’s only a slight difference between these two demons.

PRUDENCE Yeah and that difference nearly cost us our lives.

CHRIS Don’t worry about it, you’re not the first Halliwell that’s made a mistake.

WYATT orbs in

WYATT Hey, look Prue I’m really sorry I went off at you. I shouldn’t have done…

PRUDENCE It’s ok. Chris realised the problem. I had the wrong demon

WYATT Yeah, well we all make mistakes. Have you got the right one this time?

CHRIS Yeah. Hey you know it says at the bottom of this demon, do not mix Thore’s Bane with this demon, it has dire consequences.

CHRIS and WYATT both look at PRUDENCE. PRUDENCE goes red. PRUDENCE Sorry.

PAIGE orbs in

WYATT Hey Aunt Paige.

PAIGE Hey you three. Where’s your mother?

CHRIS At the restaurant.

PAIGE Oh right.

CHRIS Anything you need help with?

PAIGE No, it’s ok. Actually, there’ something else. Have any of you seen Ebony? She’s dropped off my radar.

PRUDENCE (laughing) You radar?

PAIGE Ok, I can’t sense her.

WYATT Erm…She was kidnapped by a demon yesterday. Didn’t dad tell you?

PAIGE No, he didn’t. What happened?

CHRIS None of us where there. Dad heard her call for help but by the time he got there, Ebony was gone and a student was killed.

PAIGE Really! I’m going to see your dad, is he at magic school?

PRUDENCE Yeah, I think he’s closing it down.

PAIGE Are you three ok? WYATT Well, apart from a demon attack then yeah we’re fine.

PAIGE That’s why you’re up here.

WYATT Yeah.

PAIGE Your mother knows right?

CHRIS Yes Aunt Paige.

PAIGE Ok then. I’m going to see your dad then. See you three later.

PAIGE orbs out.

PRUDENCE Thanks for not telling her about the potions.

WYATT She doesn’t need to know.

PRUDENCE Mom knows though, doesn’t she?

WYATT Yeah, but she’s not made. Let’s get on with this, the sooner we get the demon the better.

CUT TO – INT MAGIC SCHOOL. LEO’S OFFICE. DAY. LEO is sat at his desk, tapping a pen on a notepad. PAIGE orbs in. LEO doesn’t look at her.

LEO Wyatt, I’ve told you…

PAIGE It’s me, Leo.

LEO looks up

LEO Oh, Paige. How are you?

PAIGE I’m fine, but I heard you’re not. Wyatt and Chris told me about the attack.

LEO Yeah. I don’t understand how demons got into magic school.

PAIGE Do you want me to look at the spell? Maybe with a bit of extra magic I can…

LEO I can’t risk any more students’ lives.

PAIGE But you can’t close down magic school. The students need it. Look at how it’s helped Wyatt and Chris, and all the other students that have come here.

LEO That’s why I’m finding it so hard to close it down.

PAIGE So don’t. I’ll add a bit more protection to the place and then there’ll be no more demons. Ok?

LEO Thanks Paige.

PAIGE Anytime. I just can’t see this place close down. Oh, I heard you had a demon attack.

LEO Yeah. The kids are looking into it. I think they’ve gone to vanquish the demon.

PAIGE They’re making potions.

LEO Ah, a simple demon then. I’m surprised Wyatt needs potions.

PAIGE Aren’t Chris and Prue meant to be learning how to handle their powers too? Maybe he’s helping them rather than doing it himself.

LEO It’s not like him though. (thinks) Phoebe had a vision last night.

PAIGE Really? The demon?

LEO A demon. Killing Wyatt.

PAIGE What? Does he know?

LEO He knows. We told him last night.

PAIGE Maybe that’s why he’s taking a step back and letting the other two take it.

LEO Yeah. Maybe.

CUT TO – INT PHOEBE’S HOUSE. KITCHEN. DAY. PHOEBE is cooking some food. PATTY, 14-years-old, enters running.

PATTY Mom!

PHOEBE What, Patty? I can’t do everything.

PATTY Didn’t you hear me? Uncle Leo is closing magic school down.

PHOEBE Did he actually say that?

PATTY No, but…

PHOEBE So, where did you hear it from?

PATTY Well, Chlesey heard it from Robin, who heard it from Shelly that Ralph – some guy in the advanced magic class – was killed yesterday. PHOEBE Right, but you didn’t hear any of that from Uncle Leo?

PATTY No but…

PHOEBE So what makes it true?

PATTY Uncle Leo hasn’t said anything to you then.

PHOEBE No.

PATTY Oh right.

PHOEBE Now where’s Charlotte and Patience?

PATTY Upstairs, practising magic. That’s ok right?

PHOEBE You know it is.

PATTY What’s wrong mom?

PHOEBE What do you mean?

PATTY There’s something wrong, I can feel it.

PHOEBE What do you mean?

PATTY Mom, you know I’m an empathy, you can’t hide it from me. There’s something you’re not telling me.

PHOEBE No there isn’t, Patty.

PATTY Yes there is.

PHOEBE That’s it, I need that potion my sisters made from when I was an empathy.

PATTY So there is something you’re not telling me.

PHOEBE Yes, but you don’t need to know, ok?

PATTY (scowls) Hmm.

PHOEBE Now go and help your sisters while I carry on making dinner.

PATTY rolls her eyes and exits. PHOEBE sighs from relief. The DEMON shimmers in.

PHOEBE levitates to kick him, but the DEMON knocks her to the side. Obviously hearing the crash, PATTY enters.

PATTY Mom! (shouting o.s) Charlotte, Patience come in here, quick.

PATTY tries to get around the DEMON to pick up a knife, but the DEMON traps her in the corner. PATTY screams. 12-year-old PATIENCE and 8-year-old CHARLOTTE enter.

PATIENCE Patty! (shouting to the ceiling) Wyatt, we need help.

As the DEMON is about to attack PATTY, WYATT orbs in. He looks at PATIENCE and CHARLOTTE who point to the DEMON. WYATT sees the DEMON.

WYATT Knife.

WYATT orbs a butchers knife at the DEMON. The knife bounces off the DEMON. THE DEMON turns around and sees WYATT.

DEMON You again.

WYATT Chris! DEMON Oh good, more of you.

WYATT Bring potions

DEMON You want to make me strong.

WYATT Get upstairs, you two. It’s ok.

PATIENCE and CHARLOTTE do as they’re told. CHRIS and PRUE orb in.

CHRIS You called?

CHRIS sees the DEMON

CHRIS Ah!

PATTY Please help me.

PRUDENCE Where’s Aunt Phoebe?

PATTY points to PHOEBE lying on the ground. PRUDENCE runs to PHOEBE.

WYATT You got the potions?

CHRIS Yeah. Prue, you got the spell?

PRUDENCE stands up and walks to CHRIS, taking a piece of paper out of her pocket.

CHRIS throws the potion at the demon.

CHRIS and PRUDENCE Take the powers we gave to you, and disappear from out sight. Vanquish this evil from our mists, and let us see the light.

The DEMON is vanquished. PATTY sighs with relief.

PATTY Thank you.

CHRIS Anytime.

WYATT runs to PHOEBE and heals her. PHOEBE sits up

PHOEBE Where’s the demon.

PRUDENCE He’s gone Aunt Phoebe

CHRIS We vanquished him.

PHOEBE Wow, I’m impressed.

WYATT And they did it without my help.

PHOEBE I’m doubly impressed.

CUT TO – INT HALLIWELL MANOR. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT. PIPER and LEO are sat on the couch. WYATT, CHRIS and PRUDENCE are stood before them.

PRUDENCE And we made our vanquish spell and the potion and went back after the demon.

CHRIS And, it was all Prudence.

PRUDENCE With Chris’ help to find the right demon.

WYATT And they didn’t need me.

LEO I’m proud of you guys.

PIPER Me too.

CHRIS It looks like we are the new power of three!

PIPER Oi you!

WYATT But he has a point.

PRUDENCE Anyway, I’m going to bed. Night mom, night dad.

PIPER and LEO Night.

PRUDENCE exits upstairs. CHRIS It was all Prue, mom.

WYATT Yeah, she made a mistake but it didn’t stop her from stopping the demon.

PIPER I’m proud of you Wyatt.

WYATT Why?

PIPER Because even though Prue messed up, you let her get back there and finish it off.

CHRIS Hey! So did I!

LEO And we’re proud of you too, Chris.

CHRIS I’m gonna follow Prue’s lead and go to bed. Night all.

CHRIS exits.

LEO Wyatt, before you go.

WYATT Yeah dad. LEO Don’t let your Aunt Phoebe’s vision stop you from fighting the demons.

WYATT I won’t dad. I just thought it’d be good for these two, for when I’m not around to save their butts.

WYATT exits.

PIPER Did he mean when he dies or when he’s just generally not around?

LEO When he’s generally not around, Piper. Don’t worry.

PIPER Prue’s first demon.

LEO Well, Prue’s first vanquish.

PIPER Ok. Prue’s first vanquish.
