* Helpful tip: If you forget the web address, just Google ConnectED. It pops right up!

*Remember, you and your students can access ConnectED anywhere you have internet access. You can even access ConnectED on your phone. 2. Enter your username and password

* Helpful tip: If you have already registered in ConnectED, but forget your username and password, you can be reminded of your username and password through your e-mail.

* If you’ve never registered for ConnectED, you must register before continuing. See your school’s Reading Specialist for your master code and registration information. You can also watch video tutorials on how to register by clicking on “Get ConnectED Help.”

September 2016 3. Once you’ve successfully logged onto ConnectED, click on “Associated Course Content” for your Teacher’s Edition.

4. Click on “Manage and Assign” at the top of the page.

5. Click on “Create Class.”

6. Enter your name into the box and select your grade level. Do not choose the Simplified Login. Click “Save” at the bottom of the screen.

September 2016 7. Click “Add Students.”

8. Search for specific students in your class by following these steps: 1. Select your grade level. 2. Enter the student’s first or last name. 3. Click “Search”. 4. Click on the box to the left of the student’s name to add the student to your class. 5. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Save.”

September 2016 * Important Note: All CCPS students have been uploaded into the ConnectED system. If you cannot find a student, let your ELA Specialist know. You will never add students to ConnectED. You will simply search for and select previously added students.

9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you’ve selected all of your students.

* Note: If you teach more than one ELA class, you can repeat steps 5-8 to create a second class.

10. Click on “View” to view and print each student’s password card. Also click “Print Password List” to print a class list for yourself.
