A Gatlinburg vacation, tickets to October Dirty Dancing, a Dyson pet hair vacuum, dinner with Susan and Denny Crum, West 8 New Vol. Orient 16-19 Big Fix Baden Springs Hotel and Golf Package, a Hepper cat sleeper, jewelry, wall art and 25-26 BF trap return sculptures are just a few of the raffle items. The number of chances sold is limited so 27Vol update mtg your odds of winning are good. Plus your money goes directly to help ACA get more cats *QF trap distribution, Sat altered!! Don't forget Molly and Matt Mershon donate a portion of food sales to ACA, so if mornings you're planning on eating lunch (11:00 am to 2:30 pm) or dinner (5:00 to 10:00 pm), *Helping at SNIP, M- reservations are recommended. Bistro 301 is located on the corner of Market and 3rd Thurs evenings Street in downtown Louisville. Share the experience with a friends, co-workers or family members.

 The next Volunteer Update Meetings are scheduled for Sept 29 and Oct. 27 from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Eastern Pkwy office. All are welcome. Find out how much money we made from the Cat's Meow, get the update from grants and projects, and find out how the organization is working with KHS and LMAS.

 Start gathering items for the Holiday Gift Baskets thanking veterinary and other professionals that give their time and expertise to ACA. Items include homemade crafted or baked goods, cute office supplies, pet related items, cat/dog treats, pet toys, jewelry, lotions, holiday items like towels and ornaments. You can bring items to the Big Fixes or office. We also need large baskets, ribbon, and basket decorations.

 Know a cat lover? Recommend they attend New Volunteer Orientation. It is scheduled for Sunday Sept 13 at 2 pm and October 8 at 6:30 pm, both at the ACA office. Preregistration is no longer needed.

 Have a special talent to share or just want to help more cats, join a ACA team. Help with outreach, marketing, fund-raising or volunteer recruitment and retention. We can't help cats if there is no community presence, money or volunteers. Check the calendar for team meetings or call the hotline to talk to a team member.

 Don't forget to register or re-register your Kroger loyalty card to support ACA. Each time you use your loyalty card for groceries or gas earns money for buying medical supplies, paying rent and buying food for the cats in our care. Reminders have been sent. Go to the Kroger website and under the community section, make ACA your chosen charity. We made $11, 000 last year with this program. That's a lot of cats altered!!!
