Studying for your APUSH Unit 2 Test – NEW TEST DATE – Block Day 9/27 or 9/28 1. Make sure that your book, document, and class notes are complete.

2. Study your vocabulary terms (focus on the terms in your unit packet, but you might want to go over those in your book)

a. Consider flashcards on notecards or on a flashcard app

3. Answer the “Review Questions” ON A SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER (you can do the chart on the handout). Review Questions are IN YOUR HOMEWORK PACKET!

a. These need to be turned in as your “Review” separate from your notebook

4. Sign on to Launch Pad and do the Learning Curve Quiz for the chapters

a. For Unit 2 – this is Chapter 2, 3, and 4

b. These will be extra credit for your review!

5. Review other readings and/or their notes

a. For Unit 2 – you have lots of documents, and class notes / charts

6. Look over the timeline at the end of each chapter

a. You don’t need to memorize dates, but you need to know the order in which events happened

7. Come to study group to clarify any last questions

a. Tuesday September 26 – lunch in room 125

b. Wednesday September 27 - 7:45a-8:25a in room 125

Notebook Instructions - (29 points total) Your Notebook HAS to be in this order. Use labeled dividers between the different sections:

1. Book Notes (including vocabulary and blue / green pages ) – 12 points total

a. All of Chapter 2 – 4 pts

b. All of Chapter 3 – 4 pts

c. All of Chapter 4 – 4 pts

2. Document Notes – 3 points total (1 pt each) a. Documents 2-3

b. Either Document 4, 5, or 6

3. Class Notes– 14 points total

a. Spain/England/France Chart – 2 pt (contains notes for Document 1)

b. Regional Colonial Differences Chart – 4 pts

c. Colony Map / Regional Comparisons – 2 pt

d. CAPP Audience and Purpose sheet – 1 pt

e. Colonists and Native American Conflicts Chart – 1 pt

f. African Slavery and Point of View Sheet – 1 pt

g. Mercantilism and Society in the 1700’s + Great Awakening – 3 pt

Review = 32 points total -> 2 per question and 8 for the chart
