CO-INVESTIGATOR for $78,476 NIH/Agency for Health Care Policy and Research small grants program award. An 18 month award entitled “Public Hospitals and Access to Medical Care.” 1.94-6.95.

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR for $9,659 Colgate University Research Council Picker Fellowship Award for field work in Brazil. Project entitled “The Economics of Global Warming, Clean Air, and Alternative Fuels: Brazil’s Potential Contribution to Western Hemisphere Ethanol Supply, Demand, and Trade,” 2.1.95-4.1.95. CONSULTING EXPERIENCE: 2010-Present Retained by Art and Science Group LLC to model admissions and financial aid for law schools, undergraduate institutions, and public graduate degree granting institutions.

2004 Retained by ExxonMobil to undertake an analysis of the U.S. ethanol market with a specific focus on the transport sector and its relation to ethanol demand in the face of clean air regulations.

- 3 - 2000/2001 Consultant to the Iowa Corn Growers Association and Iowa Farm Bureau. Directing project to model gasoline and ethanol markets for the state of Iowa.

2002, 2001, 2000 Consultant to Harley-Davidson. Primary responsibility was to estimate and build predictive market models that form the basis for internal long-range planning.

1993-1994 Consultant to Emory University on an Emory University Medical Foundation grant awarded to study the impact of public hospitals on insurance choice and facility utilization.

1991 Retained by Marathon Oil Company as an expert witness to undertake an analysis of the U.S. ethanol market and its links to the agricultural and retail fuel markets.

1989-1990 Retained as a consultant on a grant from the Government of Taiwan. The project entailed the collection, modeling, and econometric investigation of the structure of technology in 21 U.S. service industries and 5 Taiwanese service industries.
