California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) Training Friday, October 22, 2010 Catamaran Hotel – Rosseau Room

Assembly Bill 2286 mandates businesses and Unified Program Agencies (UPAs) to report Unified Program data electronically by January 1, 2013. To assist local programs and ensure businesses meet this regulatory requirement, the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA) developed CERS, the California Environmental Reporting System. A web-based portal, CERS will allow businesses to report their information electronically. This hands-on training session will provide background information on CERS and will allow participants to use the system, assisted by experienced CalEPA and County of San Diego representatives.

There will be five consecutive training sessions, each accommodating 25 participants. Training will be provided by Catherine Gause, CalEPA’s Unified Program Associate Information Systems Analyst Lead; Michelle Price, County of San Diego’s Environmental Health Specialist; and Jay Swasey, Senior Consultant with Attain, assisting the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health.

This training is provided as part of your conference registration. However, due to limited seating, you must sign-up for a time slot.

Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified of your time prior to the start of the conference.
