Project #3- My State is Delicious! -You will create an edible replica of your state. Using cookie dough or brownie mix, you will create a landform relief map of your state. All items on the state map must be edible. Show the agricultural and manufacturing areas of your state. Mountain ranges, large bodies of water, and even major cities should be designated with edible delights. -You must also create a crossword puzzle of facts about your state. Ten up and ten down clues should be plenty. Don’t make it so hard that your classmates cannot solve it!

Project #4 – Singing Anyone? -You will write a song or rap using information you have learned and perform it or the class. This song can be silly or serious. Your song must be approved by your teacher before you sing it to the class. You need to take this seriously and do the best job you can. The typed lyrics to the song must be turned in. -You must also cook a dish that represents your state. If you have Louisiana, how about making some spicy gumbo to share? You must bring in enough food for the whole class.

Project #5- State Float -You may create a state float. Please see back of this sheet for instructions.
