We would like to issue a challenge to every police department to meet or beat a donation of $100, to be donated to the National C.O.P.S. Foundation (Concerns of Police Survivors)

The 5th Annual Fallen Officers Memorial Race will take place August 6th and 7th, 2014, during Knoxville Nationals in Knoxville, IA. This race features some of the best Legend Car drivers from across the country and will once again gather to race and raise funds and awareness for Concerns of Police Survivors.

This event was started in honor of officer and fellow racer, Danny Martinez who was killed in 2007. In remembrance of all the officers killed in the line of duty, each driver carries the name of a fallen police officer from their home state.

All proceeds of this event are contributed directly to the C.O.P.S. non-profit organization (501(3) status Certificate EIN# 52-1353470). C.O.P.S. is instrumental in offering support of all types to the survivors of the men and women killed in the line of duty while serving their communities. For a more in-depth view of what COPS does, please visit their website at www.nationalcops.org.

We are again asking for your support to make 2014 our most successful race yet. Your contributions will entitle you to our sponsorship status with representation at our display trailer throughout the entire race week. Our sponsors will be seen by the many thousands of people who come to take in the races at Knoxville. We truly appreciate the help and financial support of all the sponsors, drivers, and crews who have taken the time to help raise funds and awareness of C.O.P. S. in the past.

Please take a moment to see what the Fallen Memorial Race is all about and how you’re funding will be put to work by viewing the video on YouTube: http://youtu.be/mZhUCOt1jFM
