 Two Auto Lifters arrested by PS Badarpur, South East District.

 Three stolen vehicles recovered.

 Three cases of auto theft solved.

With the arrest of two persons namely 1) Ram Avtar @ Ravi s/o Raghubir r/o Vill-Samankatra, PS Kishni Distt. Mainpuri UP, aged 31 years, 2) Mannu Singh s/o Sita Ram singh r/o H. No. 224, Gali No.1, Lakhpat Colony, Part-II, New Delhi, age 24 years police station Badarpur of South East Distt. has solved 3 cases of auto lifting and recovered 3 stolen vehicles from their possession.

TEAM & INVESTIGATION:-

In order to prevent the incidents of auto thefts in South East Distt, a team of P.S. Badarpur was specially asked to look into the matter. In view of this a team of P.S. Badarpur, South East District was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Akhilesh Yadav, SHO/Badarpur, consisting of SI Amit Kumar, ASI Bhagirath Prashad, ASI Rajesh Kumar, HC Dheeraj, Cts. Dal Chand, Yogesh Tyagi , Ashok, Vinod and Pradeep under the supervision of Sh. Vipin Kumar Nayyar, ACP/Sarita Vihar to develop intelligence regarding such gangs operating in the district. The team received some credible information regarding few auto-lifters operating in South Delhi. The information was further developed. On 08-08-12 an information was received that an auto-lifter is roaming in Badarpur area. In this connection two pickets / nakabandhi has been laid down at Jait pur more and Vijender Murti under the leadership of HC Dheeraj and ASI Bhagirath respectively along with staff.

At about 6.30 PM HC Dheeraj intercepted a motor cycle bearing registration No. DL-3SBA-7045 and apprehended the rider namely Mannu Singh mentioned above. On asking / verifying the documents of the motor cycle he could not produce any ownership. After verification it was found that the said motor cycle was found stolen from P.S. Kalkaji vide FIR No. 448/10 uy/s 379 IPC so rider Mannu Singh has been arrested u/s 41.1 Cr.P.C.

At about 7.30 PM ASI Bhagirath Pd. Intercepted a Tata Indica Car bearing registration No. DL-3CW-2276 near Vijendewr Murti, Molarband Extn. On verification the driver Ram Avtar @ Ravi could not produce any ownership of car. After verification of chasis Number the Tata Indica car was found stolen from P.S. Sangam Vihar vide FIR No. 255/12 u/s 379 IPC and original number found HR-51W-2626 and later another Tata Indica Car bearing registration number DL-3CW-1286 was also recovered on the instance of accused Ram Avtar from the area of P.S. Badarpur, Which was parked near a school. On verification of chasis number the said car was also found stolen from O.I.A vide FIR No. 201/11 u/s 379 IPC and original number found as DL-4CV-2291. So ASI Bhagirath Pd. Arrested accused Ram Avtar u/s 41.1 Cr.P.C.

INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI:-

On sustained interrogation the accused Ram Avtar disclosed that he was a TSR driver in the year-2002. In the year 2002 he falls friendship with one Ram Chander S/o Vinod R/o E-3/231, Nand Nagiri, Delhi and he encouraged him to stole vehicle with him. In the year 2002 he was started auto lifting and was arrested in case FIR No. 265/02 u/s 328/379/411/34 IPC P.S. Mehrauli, Delhi. Thereafter he has been arrested several times in the case of auto-lifting. Lastly he was arrested in 2011 from P.S. Model Town and released from jail on 8-6-11. After releasing from jail he purchased two total losses Indica Car along with their paper. Later he stole both Indica car and put the purchase car number plates on the stolen cars so he did not apprehend by the police and used the cars frequently in Delhi also. In this connection investigation is being conducted.

On interrogation accused Mannu Singh S/o Sita Ram disclose that he was serving in a coaching centre at Kalkaji. Due to need of money he stole a motor cycle Hunk from the area of K- Block, Kalkaji and left the job from there as the paper / documents of the motor cycle was in the dicky of M/C, he frequently use the said M/C in the area of NCR. Presently he is giving yoga classes in Defence Colony and G.K. area.

A PROCLAIMED OFFENDER(RAPIST) APPREHANDED A team comprising of HC Dushyant Kumar, HC Mahender Singh, Ct.Pradeep Kumar & Ct. Surendra Attri of PS Lajpat Nagar has apprehended absconder namely Bharat Kumar Gupta s/o Surajpal Gupta r/o D-165, Near Sai Baba Mandir, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi. He has been absconding since the day of incident & avoiding his arrest. Brief Facts:- On 14.09.2010, a PCR call regarding rape was received at PS Ambedkar Nagar. In this regard a case vide FIR No.279/10 u/s 376/34 was registered on the statement of Ms.Kavita (name changed), aged 18 years, against Bharat Kumar Gupta s/o Surajpal Gupta r/o D-165, Near Sai Baba Mandir, Sangam Vihar, N.D. & Vijay Kumar r/o Dakshinpuri, N.D. Accused Vijay Kumar had been arrested in this case whereas accused Bharat Kumar could not be arrested & was declared Proclaimed Offender. PROFILE The accused Bharat Kumar Gupta used to run a Tour & Travel business. After this incident, he has concealed his identity & has been staying somewhere in Bareilly, U.P. He has studied up to 10th standard.

 GANG OF ROBBERS/CAR JACKERS BUSTED:MASTERMIND ARRESTED  TOTAL 7 (SEVEN) CASES WORKED OUT, 6 PERSONS ARRESTED.  3 SENSATIONAL ROBBERIES OF CAR JACKING WORKED OUT.  ROBBED HONDA CITY CAR, MARUTI SWIFT DZIRE CAR AND ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL AND ONE DESI KATTA USED IN COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED.

With the arrest of six accused persons namely 1.) Sumit Rathi @ Lala S/o Dharambir R/o Village Bhaproda, District Rohtak, Haryana, 2.) Amit @ Mitta @ Chotta S/o Azad Singh R/o Hari Singh Ka Makan, Indraj Colony, Bawana, Delhi, 3.) Sunil @ Popat S/o Raj Singh R/o H NO- 216, Indraj Colony, Extn. Kanjhawala Road, Ishwar Colony, Bawna, Delhi, 4.) Vicky Goel @ Brij Mohan S/o Rajender Prasad Goel R/o H.No. 9, Gali No. 9, Vijay Nagar, Bawana, Delhi, 5.) Sameer Sehrawat S/o Manak Ram R/o H.No. 940, Pana Ran, Nakse Wali Gali, Village Bawana, Delhi and 6.) Pawan @ Sonu S/o Ram Niwas R/o H.No. 909, Pana Mojan, Bawana, Delhi by the Team of ACP/Bawana, Outer District solved 7 (seven) cases of PS Bawana, PS Nagafgarh and PS Sadar Bahadurgarh, Haryana and recovered one Honda City car, One country made pistol alongwith 2 live cartridges and one Desi Katta alongwith 3 live cartridges used in commission of crime from their possession. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 262/12. u/s 186/353/307/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Bawana, Delhi.

BRIEF FACTS OF INCIDENT : On 07.06.12 at about 9.15 PM, a case of carjacking on the gun point was reported at PS Bawana Delhi, vide FIR No. 188/2012 u/s 392/34 IPC on the complaint of one Sh. Yogesh Sharma S/o Sh. Vishnu Dutt Sharma that his Maruti Swift Dzire Car No. DL- 2CAK-1245 was robbed on the gun point by two young boys. After some days on 03.07.2012 at about 7.15 PM, a case of carjacking on the gun point was also reported at PS Bawana, Delhi, vide FIR No. 218/2012 u/s 392/34 IPC on the complaint of one Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Krishan Sehrawat that his Volkswagen Polo car No. DL 8CNA 6107 had robbed on the gun point by two young boys.

TEAM AND INVESTIGATION : In view of the gravity of crime, a team under the leadership of K.P.S. Malhotra ACP/Bawana comprising SI Praveen, SI Narender, HC Ajit, HC Subhash, HC Surender Singh, HC Pradeep, HC Sunil, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Gopal Krishan, Ct. Manjeet was formed to nab the accused persons and for the recovery of robbed property. On 07.08.2012 at about 10 PM, on the receipt of secret information by HC Pradeep and Ct. Ravinder that few persons are hatching a conspiracy to rob a vehicle from DSIIDC Bawana and they have already committed such acts in past and they are presently having Hyndai Verna white Colour bearing the registration numbers DL-10CA- 8355. On this information a trap was laid to intercept this vehicle near Shani Mandir, Nangal Thakran Road, Village Nagal. This vehicle was stopped at the barricades and the four persons namely 1.) Sunil @ Popat S/o Raj Singh R/o H NO- 216, Indraj Colony, Extn. Kanjhawala Road, Ishwar Colony, Bawna, Delhi, 2.) Vicky Goel @ Brij Mohan S/o Rajender Prasad Goel R/o H.No. 9, Gali No. 9, Vijay Nagar, Bawana, Delhi, 3.) Sameer Sehrawat S/o Manak Ram R/o H.No. 940, Pana Ran, Nakse Wali Gali, Village Bawana, Delhi and 4.) Pawan @ Sonu S/o Ram Niwas R/o H.No. 909, Pana Mojan, Bawana, Delhi in the Verna car were apprehended.

As per the secret information received these persons were interrogated and they accepted their involvement in the two car robberies having FIR No. 188/12 and 218/12 PS Bawana, Delhi. In this regard it was found that the master mind in car robberies Sumit Rathi @ Lala and Amit @ Mitta @ Chotta will be coming to Delhi for conducting such car robberies. On their disclosure and information that both of these individuals are using a White Honda City having temporary registration number HR-99LS-temp-0445 which has been robbed from Najafgarh area of Delhi. On 08.08.2012, a trap was laid on Firni Road, Pooth Khurd and the car was intercepted SI Narender, HC Pradeep, HC Joginder, Ct. Ravinder and Ct. Mukesh and during this interception the accused tried to run away and even fired on the police party and an FIR in this regard has been lodged u/s 186/353/307/34 IPC and 25/27/54/59 A.Act at PS Bawana. After overpowering the accused one country made pistol and one deshi katta were recovered from them.

He studied upto class 9th from Govt. School. He started driving and during this he came in touch with bad society and started crime.
