First downs -need to cross the yellow cone -allowed four plays to reach the first down marker -If first down marker is reached you are allowed four more plays to reach the next first down marker -If first down is not reached on four plays the opposing team starts at the first set of cones in the end zone.

Blocking -not allowed to physical push or block any player -players are allowed to get in the way of another players path towards the ball -holding is not allowed on offense or defense

Defense -four one thousand or four Mississippi before rushing the quarterback -not allowed to touch the offensive player when the ball is in the air -no blitzing allowed -If the defense intercepts the ball they are allowed to run to the opposing end zone for a touchdown -After an interception the defense will be rewarded with the ball starting where the player was touched down

Offense -Center is allowed to go out for a pass -All players must stay behind the line of scrimmage until the ball is snapped -Receivers need at least one foot inbounds when catching the ball

Quarterback -Can move left and right but cannot cross the line of scrimmage and run with the ball -Is allowed to throw the ball backwards or hand the ball to another player

Scoring -when the ball crosses the first set of cones in the end zone that team is awarded a touchdown -the defense can run back an interception for a touchdown
