SOUTH FORK NEIGHBORHOOD POOL RULES

CONDUCT AND ETIQUETTE FOR 2017

Hours: Sunday - Saturday - 9:00am - 9:00 pm Pool Phone number: 417-886-8855 1. Every household is responsible for ensuring that all family members and their guests understand and follow the rules set by the South Fork Homeowners’ Association (SFHOA). All homeowners and guests swim at their own risk. All members are responsible to clean up any spills and put chairs, tables, and umbrellas back to their proper positions. All members should remain with their guests while at the pool. 2. Each household is limited to 5 guests at the pool at any one time . Exceptions to this rule may be granted by prior request to the SFHOA Board of Directors, but fully at the Board’s discretion. 3. Should pool capacity be reached, guests will be asked to leave. 4. All members of a household under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. However, the legal guardian must also be a member of the SFHOA. 5. Any member causing damage to the pool area through gross negligence or willful misconduct will be financially liable for such damage and lose pool privileges without refund of membership dues. 6. Only children 5 years of age and under in a swim diaper may use the baby pool. Adult supervision is required. 7. No abusive or offensive language allowed. 8. No running around the pool, pushing or throwing into the pool, dunking, roughhousing, or other irresponsible behavior. 9. No person with an infectious medical condition is allowed in the pool. 10. Swimsuit attire is required; no street clothes are allowed in the pool. 11. Diving is only allowed in the designated deep end area. 12. While at the pool, all members are expected to respect reasonable requests (i.e., put water guns put away if bothering others, remove a large raft from the pool so there can be room for swimmers, etc.). 13. No glass containers, tobacco use, pets, unauthorized vendors, bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters, or other wheeled vehicles in the enclosed pool area . Tobacco use only in the designated area by the bridge in the parking lot. Violations of this rule will result in a loss of pool privileges without multiple warnings . 14. SFHOA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A lost and found bin will be available, but will be cleaned out weekly. ** All rules and judgments above are to be monitored by all SFHOA members and action taken immediately. All violations and actions taken should then be reported to a SFHOA Board Member ***Continual violations may result in loss of pool privileges for the year with NO refund in dues! - SFHOA Board Decision ***Parents have the ultimate responsibility for the discipline of their children; however, Board Members have the authority to suspend pool privileges up to 24 hours for violations of pool rules, safe conduct, and etiquette.

The following disciplinary procedure, other than the above, and will be enforced by the SFHOA Board. Child Disciplinary Procedure (for children ages 14-17 at the pool without a legal guardian) 1st Offense - verbal warning 2nd Offense - sent home, parents notified, loss of pool privileges for 24 hours. 3rd Offense - suspension of pool privileges for the length of time determined by SFHOA
