V. Methodology: □ Write in past tense □ Do not use personal pronouns □ Write in paragraph form □ Do not write like a list of commands.
Ex: “First, a beaker was filled with water, and the pipet was used to extract water form the beaker.”
VI. Results □ Create a data table. □ Do three trials. □ Do determine the mean (average). Create a bar graph that compares the results of the three trials with the mean. □ Draw a diagram (picture) that shows the water on the penny. Label adhesion, cohesion, and surface tension.
VII. Conclusion: 1. How do your actual results compare to your original hypothesis? 2. What were the variables? 3. How does this lab demonstrate the properties of water?
