From 2014 March to 2016 November: Position Hold : Physiotherapist (part time) Employer : Dwaraka Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center, Rajahmundry, East Godavari Dist, AP,India. Duties and Responsibilities: Helped to establish a well organised physiotherapy centre. Assessment of patients, planning and implementing physiotherapy modalities. Re-assessment and making necessary changes in modalities according to the prognosis of disease. Practicing as a first contact practitioner. Have a good experience for pain management. Treated many patients with diagnoses include but are not limited to: acute neurological, orthopedic and medical diagnosis such as cerebral hemorrhage, neuromuscular disease, spinal cord injury, multiple fractures, burns, traumatic brain injury, Prematurity, cardiac and pulmonary disease. Practicing latest techniques like PNF, Manual therapy techniques, Myofacial release therapy techniques, Trigger point release, NDT, Dry Needling Techniques , Taping Techniques, Integrated Approach etc… Treated many sports injury cases. Treating many patients with Orthopaedic rehabilitation like THR, TKR, ACL reconstruction, Laminectomy etc… Advising to the patients about postural corrections and also importance of exercise. Evaluate clients for orthotic needs, mold for orthotics and modify orthotics as necessary. Provides and evaluates durable medical equipment/ devices based on needs of patient. Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with coworkers and facilitating teamwork. Plan treatment and fix monthly and session goals. Giving advises like walking, general mobility exercises for old aged persons for improving their health conditions. Managing stressful situations and available time effectively. Maintain accurate patient records and relevant data. Educating and advising patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions. Provides ongoing therapy on an outpatient basis. Re evaluating the cases and measuring the improvement. Keeping up to date with new techniques and technologies available for treating patients. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
