CSCS cards confirm that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications. There are just over 1.9 million cardholders in the UK and the scheme is widely used on the majority of construction sites. Most major contractors and homebuilders require their workers to hold a valid CSCS card as a demonstration of their commitment to safe and efficient working.

EUSR is designed to support industry employers and add value to the sector. As the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for the gas, power, waste management and water industries, Energy & Utility Skills (EU Skills) operates an independent skills platform, referred to as EUSR, which provides recognised standards for the utility sector. Individuals who qualify for registration with EUSR are issued with a card and appear on the EUSR website. EUSR is beneficial to both employers and individuals as they move between companies or between industries. Organisations have a robust way of verifying the abilities of their workers while individuals have a recognised method of demonstrating their abilities to employers.

This qualification is aimed at those learners who work in an environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely. This asbestos awareness course is aimed at all individuals who could foreseeably come into contact with asbestos containing materials during their usual work activities. This qualification has been designed for delivery to any learner working or preparing to work in a customer service role or where using the telephone is a part of their role. The qualification covers the principles of customer service including how to meet customer expectations, the importance of appropriate behaviour and communication techniques as well as ways to deal with problem customers.

The HABC Level 2 Award in Conflict Management has been developed to meet the requirements of individuals who require training in conflict management. It can also be a useful qualification for individuals who would like a better understanding of how to prevent conflict situations from arising and feel more confident in being able to deal with situations if they arise. The HABC Level 2 Award in Door Supervision has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the learner with the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry. This award will also allow delegates to work as a Security Guard.

This qualification has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the learner with the necessary knowledge and understanding to apply for an SIA licence and work as a CCTV Operative within the Private Security Industry. CALL CENTRE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING DURATION OF COURSE - 1 WEEK. £250 PER DELEGATE MAXIMUM OF 12 DELEGATES

Employers participate in this initiative; they guarantee interviews or assessments for individuals who successfully complete the training course. These employers include Lloyds Bank, First Source and the AA. The course itself takes place in two phases. An initial induction introduces attendees to the nature of contact centre work, to identify those suitable. These then take part in an intensive, week- long course which covers everything from excellent customer service to conflict management. This course is non-accredited however, all attendees receive a certificate that is recognised by the main call centres in Wales. OTHER WORK RELATED TRAINING
