Biography

Ms. Hoopes joined PNNL in 1986. Her professional experience has developed from a wide variety of roles in the field of computers, from clerical to systems administration to computer programming and software engineering. At PNNL, she began with the administration and technical support of microcomputers. Her responsibilities quickly turned to computer applications software development which has been her focus since 1987. She is experienced in several computer operating systems, platforms and programming languages. She is fluent in Microsoft Visual Basic for Windows-based applications and C/C++. She is experienced in Visual Basic for Applications (MS Access, Excel), Fortran, JAVA, and GIS programming with dbCad dev (Abaco) and ArcObjects (ESRI ArcView 8.1).
