N O T I C E Imphal, the 21st January, 2015

No. HL-268/C&I/2014: It is hereby informed to all entrepreneurs who have submitted proposal to this office or setting up of Powerloom Units under North Eastern Region Textile Promotion Scheme that the Govt. of India is considering the proposal for setting up of the Powerloom Units in a Powerloom Estate instead of individual unit at the respective residence. Therefore, all the interested entrepreneurs who are interested to set up the powerloom unit in an Estate to be located in “Lamboikhongnangkhong”, Imphal West may apply in a prescribed format for submitting the proposal to the Govt. of India. Eligibility: (i) Entrepreneur shall bear 30% personal contribution on the cost of machineries and equipment; (ii) Grant of Govt. on the cost of workshed shall be limited to Rs.350/- per square feet and balance shall be borne by the entrepreneur; (iii) Powerloom Unit shall be set up inside the Estate. (iv) Supporting on the part of own contribution from bank or FI shall be required. Interested entrepreneurs may submit the application to the Directorate of Commerce & Industries, Lamphelpat or Project Manager/OSD (Handloom), District Handlooms & Textiles Offices attached in the DICs of the respective district on 07-02-2015. Details information can be had from the Handloom Section of this Directorate office and district offices.
