1 16TH HOUSTON BUILDING PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE ATTENDEE ACTION ITEMS

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION UNLESS YOU: The attendance roster will be circulated at the start of each class period by class moderators for signing and again 10 minutes prior to the end of class for you to initial. Verification of your presence at a BPI class is your personal signature and initials on the Attendance Roster of each class you attend. Only classes attended will be printed on your Certificate of Completion. CRC will notify you by email when you may download your certificate of completion from the BPI website.

ENGINEERS: Your BPI Certificate of Completion is your certification of Professional Development Hours (PDH). Effective with Texas license renewal in 2004 15PDH, of which 1 PDH must be on Ethics, will be required yearly to maintain a professional engineering license in Texas. Ethics will not be offered at the 16th HBPI.

ARCHITECTS: To receive proper Learning Unit Credit for approved AIA classes, you must provide your AIA number on the Attendance Roster which will be circulated at the start of each class, and again just before the end of class by class moderators.

CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS: All classes in the Code Enforcement track have been submitted to the Texas Department of Health for review for Code Enforcement continuing education

ELECTRICIANS: The Building Professional Institute is an approved provider for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. NEC Track Courses 1607AP, 2607AP, and 3607AP, have been submitted for TDLR approval and 4607AP has been approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations to satisfy the continuing education requirements for electricians. Bring your license and photo identification card, or other necessary information to this seminar. This will ensure timely reporting of continuing education credit.

INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL - PREFERRED PROVIDER : BOAT is an ICC Chapter with Preferred Provider Status. All code classes are submitted for ICC approval. BOAT/CRC offers recognized CEU’s for approved education through ICC’s Preferred Provider Program. We are member of the Preferred Provider Network.

TEXAS ACCESSIBILITY ACADEMY (2 DAYS): 2810AP and 3810AP (8:00AM-5:00PM) Attendance is open to all individuals seeking information on the 2012 Texas Accessibility Standards. Both days are mandatory for an individual to receive credit toward the RAS certification and application process. Academy credit will be issued by TDLR. Current RAS’s seeking 8 hours for continuing education credit may take course 1409A (8:00AM – 12:00Noon) and 1409P (1:00PM – 5:00PM) and bring their license and a photo ID. This will ensure timely reporting of CEU hours.

At the completion of your attendance at the 16th HBPI please be sure to turn in your Course Critique at the front of your classroom.
