Mustang Memo: October 23, 2014

FROM OUR PRESIDENT Parents,

We had a wonderful general meeting on Tuesday where we hosted our Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tom Leonard. He gave us his perspective on the current state of our schools and made projections for the next five years. His presentation was very informative and if you haven't had the opportunity to meet Dr. Leonard or hear him speak, I would urge you to do so. It was a pleasure to have him speak to our parents.

In our meeting, we had an IEC vote where we approved new adult furniture for the Mustang Room to create a flexible and collaborative meeting space on campus.

Our Parent's Night Out is scheduled for Friday, October 24th at 6-9pm at the Rattle Inn. Tickets are available online at the PTO Store at https://eepto.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?. Our live auction will feature Circuit of the America F-1 tickets and parking pass, a UT Sports Package, a Fender Tex Mex Stratocaster guitar autographed by Jimmy Vaughan, a pair of Nak Armstrong earrings, trips to Roatan, Steamboat Springs and South Padre, a vasectomy, a pamper me, date night and fit packages as well as an annual favorite … dinner and movie with Principal Villemaire and Asst.
