Post Title: Events and Sales Executive Post No: LCCCF12

Salary: A fixed salary with an attractive bonus package commensurate with skills and experience (Full time fixed term contract initially for 18 months)

Responsible to: Head of Community Development ______

JOB PURPOSE: To generate income for the LCCC Foundation through the development, delivery and selling of fundraising events and activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES:

1. To lead on the development and driving of sales/attendance for all Foundation events and fundraising activity as defined by the Head of Community Development.

2. To drive and generate sales / income in relation to all Foundation events and fundraising activity.

3. To support the joint venture Events Working Group, taking the lead on all sales activity, and foster good working relationships with all relevant departments across the Club and LCB.

4. To support the Club and LCB with the development and delivery of all internally driven events as defined through the joint venture Events Working Group.

5. To develop additional, unplanned events and fundraising projects for approval by the Head of Community Development.

6. To support the Head of Community Development in liaising with the LCCC Commercial Team to generate sponsorship and CSR investment

7. To monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of event and fundraising activity through the LCCC Foundations performance management processes.

8. To provide regular performance and impact reports for the Head of Community Development, LCCC Foundation Board of Directors and others as requested. 9. To support the Foundation with all wider projects, programmes and events as defined by the Head of Community Development.

10. To assist the Head of Community Development in the development and review of LCCC Foundation strategies and plans.

11. To support the LCCC Foundation in embedding a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

12. To ensure the effective promotion of all LCCC Foundation projects and programmes.

13. To work closely with staff at LCCC and LCB to identify opportunities for the club and Foundation.

14. To develop and maintain a positive image and reputation for the Foundation.

15. To promote equality of opportunity and access to the Foundation’s functions and service activities and to fulfil the Foundation’s responsibilities as an employer.

16. To adhere to all relevant Foundation policies and procedures.

17. To undertake any other duties as commensurate with the level and seniority of the role.

COMMISSIONING STRUCTURE:

An attractive commission structure to be put in place providing a commission potential of 50% of salary.
