The Brokerage Citylink is an independent charity based in the City of London working in partnership with businesses and institutions in London’s financial districts to raise aspirations, create access to career opportunities and achieve a more diverse workforce.

Our Talent Development Team connects talented young Londoners with career opportunities in some of London’s top employers. We match high calibre candidates with apprenticeship, internship and job opportunities in a variety of sectors, along with providing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process and their work placements. The team also arrange a variety of events, from small and focussed career masterclasses to large evening events of 200+ attendees.

We are seeking to take on a recruitment administrator to work across all of our recruitment programmes and activities. This includes the City of London Business Traineeship (CBT) programme for talented inner-London sixth formers, the City Careers Programme: Fast Track for sixth formers interested in alternatives to university and the City Careers Programme for undergraduates and graduates.

Main duties:

 To assist in the continuing development and delivery of all Brokerage recruitment and internship programmes.

 To ensure all administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of all recruitment programmes are undertaken on a regular basis, as well as offering administrative support across other Brokerage programmes and activities (such as providing support where necessary for the schools workshop programme).

 To maintain students records using the CRM database (Salesforce) including regular monitoring of their progress.

 To assist in the preparation of quarterly statistics and progress reports by providing key data.

 Responsible for updating and distributing relevant company marketing material for vacancies, apprenticeships etc.

 To establish working relationships with schools, colleges and community organisations, assisting in promoting all of the recruitment team programmes, through advertising and presentations.

 To maintain student relationships through in-person registration appointments, schools visits, telephone contact, email and relevant social media to ensure there is a pool of students with relevant skills available.

Registered charity number: 1059173 December 2016  To play an active role in the organisation of all Brokerage events and activities as required, including outreach activities (such as Careers Fairs, school leaver presentations and drop down days).

 To undertake other duties as the Senior Recruitment Manager deems appropriate.

Person specification:

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive candidate with first class communication and organisational skills, and good attention to detail.

Everything we do is client-driven, so you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be motivated by being part of a hardworking and sociable team.
