Description: Tele-psychiatry is fast becoming an ideal approach to delivery behavioral health care services in an efficient and consumer-oriented fashion. More and more payers are supportive of the approach however they demand demonstration of positive behavioral and economical outcomes from providers. Learn how to: 1. Select the ideal measures to track and how to track them in a tele-psychiatry environment 2. Display these measures in a digital dashboard that can guide practitioners to improve their own practice 3. Determine the impact of tele-psychiatry services on these measures 4. Biographies of Presenters: Dr. Ken Hopper: Board certified MD and psychiatrist. Dr. Hopper provides psychiatric/mental health and behavioral health services in three locations throughout DFW. Dr. Mari Tietze: Professor of health informatics at Texas Woman’s University. She has also been a medical- surgical RN for over 30 years and now focuses teaching and research in the area of telehealth.

Michael Etzel: Senior student at Texas Woman’s University in the Health Informatics B.S. degree program with a minor in Clinical Applications. Michael’s analytics interest has been in the area of behavioral health measures.

Steve Love: President and CEO of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC), an professional association of the 90+ hospital in the DFW area.
