Providing a client in need of home care services with affordable charges was a very attractive business, this was a very good opportunity. According to the UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council (2011), the health care jobs in the UAE are growing dramatically and will stay to grow for the next decade. Actually, many doctors and health care personnel from the U.S and Europe have started looking for jobs in the UAE, due to the decent lifestyle and tax-free country. Many professional conferences and forums coming to the UAE for the goal of education of nursing and home care system needs and identifies broad strategic directions. We are facing many competitors in this industry, especially ones that provide the same services we do to the same target of customers. These companies are listed under nursing home cares such as Emirates Home Nursing, Hilal Nursing, and Home for Life. Other institutions Includes all companies who provide similar services to our target market such as senior residential campus, government home care who provide health care services for eligible residents, and medical clinks who provide a wide range of services where clients walk in for medical services.

2. Industry Analysis 2.1 Market According to a research published by scholars in McKinsey and Company titled “ Gulf Cooperation Council Health Care: Challenges and Opportunities”, the coming decade will bring significant new challenges to health care in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, these challenges will require new strategies on the part of government and private health-care players. The research findings revealed that an unparalleled and unprecedented rise in demand for health care over the course of the next two decades”. We estimate that the total health-care spending in the region will reach 60 billion U.S dollars in 2025, up from 12 billion today”. No other region in the world faces such rapid growth in demand with simultaneous needs to realign its health-care systems to be able to treat the disorders of affluence. The research findings revealed that the health –care systems are far better than they were 20 years ago; many residents remain unsatisfied with the availability and quality of care at government –run hospitals and clinics. Government agencies mostly lack the managerial skills needed to run health-care facilities, and cash incentives alone haven’t been enough to attract specialists to treat the rising numbers of people with ailments such as heart disease and cancer.

According to a new research report, “UAE Healthcare Forecast to 2012”, the UAE healthcare industry is expected to sustain its growth pace in the near future. The healthcare market of the UAE is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 16 percent during 2011-2014. The country has been witnessing a tremendous increase in the demand for healthcare services and professionals, which indicates a high healthcare spending. The baseline factors for the optimistic future outlook of the UAE healthcare industry includes, enhanced participation, high investments by private players, industry consolidation for medical infrastructure, and a supply of pharmaceuticals. Additionally, there will be a strong demand for primary

7 healthcare level drugs, such as generics, antibiotics, and over-the-counter drugs (OTC) in the coming years as numerous drugs are on the verge of patent expiry and the UAE Government is promoting the use of generic and OTC drugs. Hence, the pharmaceutical industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of around 14.5% during 2011-2014. The report, “UAE Healthcare Sector Forecast to 2012”, provides a comprehensive research, objective analysis, and information on important issues of the UAE healthcare market. It studies the healthcare industry by segmenting it into hospital services, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. The report contains statistical and analytical information on each of these segments, covering information on their market size and demand. It also features analysis of future trends, supplemented with facts and figures. In this way, the report serves as a useful guide for healthcare companies, government officials, consultants, and investors planning to enter the UAE healthcare market.

According to the Dubai Chronicle (Feb, 2012) titled “Top 5 businesses to start in Dubai”, home health care ranked number 3 in this article. I quote “Perhaps the business sector likely to benefit most from the constant influx of expats to Dubai is the home health-care industry. An increasingly popular in the Western countries alternative to nursing homes (which are not plenty in Dubai either), home health- care services are expected to offer patients reasonable costs while providing them the dignity of being able to remain in their homes. Such services are almost not available in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates at large. The home care healthcare industry has also generated many promising niches, including service providers that specialize in cognitive-fitness computer programs, which help exercise the mind”.

Al Dar Home Care aims to be a leader in the industry of homecare services in the UAE. Our management puts a long-term vision to be the provider of choice for exceptional home and community health care services and provider of medical workforce for the UAE.

Residents have far more choices about when they awake, when they eat and what they want to do during the day. Residents such as elderly parents or younger adults with physical or mental disabilities or residents who require constant nursing care and have significant deficiencies with activities of daily living, or any situation where people prefer staying at home while still receiving nursing care.
