CBT's operating area includes multiple PSAPs. The PSAP boundaries do not match wire center or rate center boundaries. Several PSAPs may operate within a single wire center or rate center. As a CLEC, you are responsible for negotiating with the PSAPs to identify default arrangements. PSAP contact information is in our online documentation.
CBT provides 911 control office functions for all of its operating territory with the exception of West Harrison, Indiana. CBT can assist you in identifying the appropriate contacts in those areas.

This charge is not to be confused with PSAP surcharges. As such, on a monthly basis, the CLEC has the option to report the total count of all 911 capable lines to CBT or have CBT estimate the number of lines derived from number of ALI records.
