LionWAP Quick Start Guide - Starting your Lions Club Webpage
LionWAP is free, fast and easy. It provides many features that you begin by typing.
Why use LionWAP? Even when your club moves on to other services, you can still use the directory, e-mail, guest book, photo album, chat room and other services of your free LionWAP webpage.
Visit the website at www.lionwap.org
Pick a username that matches your club's name, but include your state or province designation. (Your username becomes your website name)
Example: The Watertown Lions Club in Connecticut is WatertownCT. The full website address is www.lionwap.org/WatertownCT
Click where it says "New Users: Click Here To Create a New Page "
Read startup instructions and click "Continue" at the bottom of the page
Get started with at least the minimum amount of information. Club Name, State, Country, Club President's name, Your name (as it would display it as webmaster) and your real email address. At the bottom of the screen, enter your Username and easy to remember password. Take the time to write down your password.
Then click SUBMIT at the bottom of the page.
It was important to spell your email address correctly, as your new webpage will be viewed and approved by volunteers within a few days. Your Lions Club name, state and President's name helps these volunteers to know that your webpage is for a valid Lions Club. You will receive a confirmation email when your webpage is reviewed.
LionWAP also supports District and Lions Project websites.
LionNet and LionWAP are services provided at no cost to Lions Clubs by Lions Club volunteers
