JUMPING CLASS RULES

Class 1 Helter Skelter Circular jumping course NO WEAVES K.C jumping heights; allsorts can run at small or medium height. Usual scoring will apply.

Class 2 Judge’s Gamble K.C jumping heights; allsorts can run at small or medium height 1st round will be a timed jumping round 2nd round will be a judge’s gamble Gamble 1…………10 points Gamble 2…………..5 points Faults & points will be converted into seconds Faults incurred in 1st round will be added to time, points will be deducted from time.

Class 3 Football Fiasco Full jumping course set at small height 3 Footballs will be strategically placed by 3 jumps Handler has 3 options Kick the ball over the jump…………………..10 points Throw the ball over the jump………………….5 points Ignore the ball………………………………….5 faults Handler may down their dog before attempting to kick/throw ball, then must direct dog over the jump. Usual scoring on the jumping, Faults & points will be converted into seconds. Faults incurred in jumping will be added to time, points will be deducted from time.

Class 4 Tunnel Teaser The course consists of rigid & cloth tunnels, There will be lots of traps, 5 faults every time the dog takes the wrong tunnel!!

Pay on Day (time permitting) Dress Up & Jump Items of clothing will be placed by some of the jumps; the handler must be fully dressed before the dog crosses the finish line. 5 seconds deducted off time for every article put on.

AGILITY CLASS RULES

Class 5 JUDGE’S AGILITY GAMBLE K.C jumping heights; Allsorts can run at small or medium height 1st round will be a timed agility round 2nd round will be a judges gamble Gamble 1…………10 points Gamble 2…………..5 points Faults & points will be converted into seconds Faults incurred in 1st round will be added to time, points will be deducted from time.

Class 6 Contact Donut Dog and handler start in the middle of the ring, dog on the low table, either in a down or sit, time starts as soon as dogs front paws touch ground, you then proceed around the course in a circle consisting of contacts and tunnels, then back on table, time stops as soon as dog is in down on table. Usual scoring on equipment.

Class 7 Snakes ‘N Ladders Course consists of tunnels (snakes), contacts & weaves (ladders), It will be a timed course which will run snake, ladder, snake, ladder to end. Usual scoring on equipment. Class 8 Egg ‘N Spoon Pairs Dogs and handlers will run a simple agility course, jumps will be small height; handler will carry an egg and spoon around course, and pass it to second handler, you and your dogs, must be in the box during change over. Usual scoring, plus 5 faults every time handler drops the egg.

SHOW RULES 1. Entries limited to 100 dogs per day 2. Entry fees £2 per class or £7 per dog per day for all 4 runs 3. The venue is a public sports field so please take care of your property, and also please be extra careful with your dogs; local children may be on site, please keep dogs on lead except in exercise areas. 4. Please pick up after your dogs 5. All dogs/handlers entered at owners/handlers own risk 6. Dogs entered at this show must be over 18 month old. 7. Please enjoy yourself and have fun.

CAMPING Camping is limited to 20 units, the camping fee is £10 per unit. If you need a large pitch please let show manager know and we will accommodate you. (normal size pitch 10 meters x 10 meters) There are toilets and showers in the club house which will be available all weekend, also elsan facilities. Refreshments will be available Saturday & Sunday. (Locks Garage is 2.5 miles away, caters for groceries newspapers etc, post office/stores and pub in the village all shown on map.)

Saturday Evening Entertainment The Kingstone Sports committee have arranged entertainment for us, from about 7.30pm till about 10.30pm. I have been told it will be Fun; we will let you know more with running orders.

Directions To Show Ground

Leave Hereford on the A465 (Abergavenny Rd) .Just passed Belmont Abbey turn right to Hay on Wye on the (B4348). After about 2 miles take left fork on the B4349 to Kingstone. Continue for about 1.5 miles turn left to Kingstone, Venue approx ¼ mile on right. From South West turn left on to the B4348, at Locks garage on to the B4348 (to Hay on Wye) continue approx 2.5 miles, then turn right at Bull Ring pub, venue approx ½ mile on left.
