Uniforms ESA Home Team Uniforms For Recreation consists of the following- ESA Club Jersey (Numbers only on the back- NO duplicate# for same team) Black Shorts Black Socks All ESA Club teams must match – no names, sponsors, and others such decoration is allowed on any Team Jersey. Option I teams are required to purchase the above along with a secondary jersey for ‘away’ games. Contact the ESA Special Projects Coordinator for additional information. ESA teams playing in torments must wear either the home uniform or away uniforms. Shin Guards are required at all practices and games. Jewelry is not allowed during games or practices. Coaches it is imperative that you explain this to your parents. If you have any question please contact an ESA Board Member. Any layering of clothing must consist of the following ESA colors – black, white or burgundy. Uniforms can be purchased at Proformance Apparel – (Ridge Road & Broadway) A Complete Set – jersey, shorts; socks can be purchased for around $35.00.

Team Rosters Team Rosters will be frozen after the 2nd game of the season. Each age group has a maximum number of players allowed on the roster. When a team reaches the maximum roster size, no more players are allowed to play on that team. These numbers are as follows: U6 – 8 U9 – 14 U7 – 10 U10 – 14 U8 – 10 U11 and above – 18

Children whom are not on the ESA sealed roster are not covered by the umbrella insurance policy, and will not be covered in the event of an injury. Do not allow children who are not registered with ESA and on an ESA roster to practice or participate in games with your team! As the Coach, you are personally responsible for the liability of any child not registered with ESA. You must have your official roster at each game. If you receive a new player on your team, you must get an updated roster, sealed and signed by the ESA registrar, before that child is allowed to participate in a game or practice.

Player Registration Copies You must keep the Player Registration Copies with you at every practice, game and tournament. This form includes permission to play, release of liability and consent for emergency medical treatment. If a player is injured and the parent is not present, the player will not be able to receive medical treatment without this form. This form also constrains contact information of the parents/guardians that may not be on the Team Roster.

Game Schedules Schedules are subject to change. If this happens you will be contact by an ESA Board Member, as to the change, and it is your responsibility to contact the opposing coach, and your parents to insure the game gets played at correct the correct time. Home Game Cancellation In the event ESA BOD closes fields due to inclement weather or dangerous field conditions the information will be posted on- ESA website- englewoodsoccer.org ESA Soccer number (303)669-0402 9News Away Game cancellation are at that soccer club’s discretion. Contact the away coach for questions or concerns.

Make-up Games In the event a ‘Home Game” is cancelled due to inclement weather the following policies will be enforced –  It is the Coaches responsibility to reschedule such game  Make up games can only be done on Friday Evenings, Sundays, and Saturdays –if the field is available.  Two ESA Board Members must be contacted (Referee Coordinator and Team Coordinator) and not less than three business days notice is required so that the necessary steps can be taken to insure the field use and acquiring a referee. Field Schedules The Coach of the first game of the day, on any field is responsible for Set Up of the field. The flags nets and a ladder for all fields are located: In the shed behind the Englewood Recreation Center (north side of the building the far west end of parking lot at the intersection of Oxford and Kalamath) The Coach of the last game of the day on any field is responsible for take down of the field. Game Scores Option I, Metro and Competitive teams are required to report there team scores to the Colorado State Youth Soccer. http: (www.coyouthsoccer.org)

Field Permits Keep your field permit with you at all practices and games. This shows that you have priority over any other un-organized event.

Parent Communication It is the Coaches responsibility to communicate all and any information to the parents and players regarding ESA sanctioned events, not including but limited to, pictures, tournaments, and end of the season award ceremony.

Picture Packet Hand out picture packets to all o your parents before picture day, and tell them to bring it with them. As a Coach you are not required to attend pictures, however, you are required to communicate to your team and sign up for a time slot so that parents may have an opportunity for a team picture and/or individual picture of their child.

Parental Code of Conduct This form will now be on the backside of your player registration form. However in the event a player is missing one these are including and expected to be handed out and signed by the parent as required. An ESA Board Member will notify you of which parents are required to fill these out.

Safety Memo Hand out the safety memo to each parent/guardian on your team. This memo will help insure the importance of parents timely pick up their kids at practices.

Tournament Information All teams are welcome to attend state sanctioned tournaments. ESA will reimburse 50% or up to a $100.00 per season to each team that wishes to attend a tournament. Reimbursement will be completed after the tournament has taken place. Team players and coaches are responsible to pay the fees upfront, along with the registration process. You must contact ESA Registrar and inform them if you are planning to attend any tournament, so that a roster may be established and any additions or changes can be made. ESA is not responsible to registrar teams unless required by tournament rules. Coaches are not required to attend a tournaments but ESA BOD requires coaches to inform their team, so that if there is a team interest, a substitute coach can be but in place for tournament purposes.

Risk Management This information is provided to you by ESA on the State level. It is imperative you read this as that you are responsible for the children in your care. Any issues or concerns must be directed at the ESA President and ESA Risk Management Coordinator.

Risk Management Avadavit If you are new coach to ESA you are required to fill this out and contact the following BOD members so that it can be processed correctly - ESA President and ESA Risk Management Coordinator. This form will need to be filled out by returning coaches every two years, regardless if you are coaches consistently or take an absence, from this organization. Additional Information:
