Face to Face Membership Recruiter Job Specification
As a F2F membership Recruiter you are the public face of the Wildlife Trust and play a key role in growing support and raising funds to protect local wildlife. This role would involve working on a freelance basis in the Cheshire region both on some of our 47 nature reserve and pre-planned off site events, promoting the Trusts work and encouraging people to support us through membership.
Permanent part-time post Flexible to suit – ideal for part time and weekend work (2 days per week) the most successful times are weekends, we operate all year round.

What’s involved? Engaging with all members of the public by actively promoting membership. This involves taking people’s personal details face to face. Sales training on membership recruitment and customer service. Learning about The Cheshire Wildlife Trusts projects and reserves. Meeting members of the public at our reserves, events and shows. Promoting the Trusts work. Offering excellent customer service. Becoming familiar with and then following the Cheshire Wildlife Trust’s Health and Safety Policy at all times.
This role will suit people who This role will suit anyone who enjoys meeting and talking to people from all walks of life. Having some previous sales experience is desirable but training will be given on the work of the Trust and how we approach people to become members. You will enjoy this role if you;

The 13,000 members of Cheshire Wildlife Trust help to carry out this vital work at a local level, including projects such as dormouse and harvest mouse reintroduction, water vole recovery, black poplar restoration and nature reserve management in Cheshire, Halton, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington and Wirral.
A major part of our work is the management of our 47 nature reserves, including our latest and largest acquisitions, Gowy Meadows and Dutton Park Farm nature reserves. Our reserves protect and conserve examples of woodland, grassland, heathland, wetland, sand dunes and peat bogs. We also play a much wider role throughout the region by:
Demonstrating best practice land management Delivering a successful countywide Conservation Grazing Scheme Speaking out on appropriate local issues Fighting insensitive developments Offering safe access to nature reserves Increasing awareness about the environment Surveying and recording the region's biodiversity
