Resolution #2013-0419 Approval of Maintenance Surety and Return of Improvement Performance Bond for Bishop Janes United Methodist Church 59 Washington Avenue Block 1510 Lot 3.02

WHEREAS, the Engineer of the Township of Bernards, Somerset County, New Jersey, 07920, has received the following Cash Maintenance Surety:

Name of Applicant: Bishop Janes United Methodist Church Address: 38 South Finley Avenue, PO Box 383, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 Dated: 11/2/2013 Cash Amount: $8,434.80

WHEREAS, the below applicant is requesting return of their Improvement Performance Bond for Site Restoration:

Name of Applicant: John Garcia Construction Company Inc. Address: 183 Friar Lane, Clifton, NJ 07013 Bond #: CSC-50418 Insurance Company: Colonial Surety Company Address: 50 Chestnut Ridge Road, Montvale, NJ 07645 Amount: $50,608.80

WHEREAS, the Township Engineer, after inspection, advises that the site has now been completed in compliance with Township regulations and recommends return of the Improvement Performance Bond to the applicant, and

WHEREAS, the Township Attorney has approved the Maintenance Surety as to its form and sufficiency.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Bernards that the Maintenance Surety is herby approved, and effective upon passage of this resolution for a two year period; and

NOW, THEREFORE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Bernards that the aforesaid Improvement Performance Bond be released to the above named applicant.
