NExpress is Now in USD 113!

The School District is joining NExpress, a regional catalog of the Northeast Kansas Library System and 42 other libraries. The NExpress Shared Catalog uses Koha, the first open-source integrated library system developed in 1999 by Katipo Communications for the Horowhenua Library Trust in New Zealand. The advantages of this new library system for you, the student, are numerous. To start with you will be able to access the library at home, your local public library, or wherever you have access to the Internet. You will be able to borrow books, movies and audiobooks from not only our library collection but also from the other 42 libraries in the shared catalog. Materials you request will be delivered to your school for you to pick up, using the Kansas Library Express courier system. This is an opportunity for the library to provide you with a valuable new service – easy access to almost 870,000 items!
