COURSE CULMINATING ACTIVITY CHC2D Credit Recovery

You will do some inquiry into Canada’s most recent social and economic events and international involvements. For this you’ll use recent newspaper websites, such as www.thestar.com. Then, you will look back and compare these findings to events and issues in Canada’s more recent past, from 1982 to the last few years. In so doing you will apply your historical thinking concepts of continuity and change, and significance (in terms of fitting into Canada’s larger history). The format of presentation of your comparison can be up to you: PPT, presentation, or mindmap. Whatever you choose, it should highlight continuities and/or changes and significance of the topic in Canada’s history.
