2017 TechnoVisionary Award- Application Form Application Deadline: January 15, 2018

This award is for lifetime achievement by an Indian academician who has made significant contribution to the field Electronics and Semiconductor field through research and development.

This award has been instituted to recognize and honor a visionary, who has over the years made seminal contributions that made a difference to the field of Electronics and semiconductor. The awardees’ path-breaking contributions should be in academics & research.

Selection Criteria

o This award recognizes excellence sustained over a professional career. Luminaries who made a difference to the electronics or semiconductors industry are qualified for nomination to TechnoVisionary award, as long as they satisfy the basic criteria set for it. o An Indian academician should have had a noteworthy impact in Local and Global Semiconductor and Electronics industry through research in Academic Institute. o Entries are accepted only through second-party nominations (not self-nomination). Anyone who becomes aware of this award is welcome to nominate a visionary in the electronics & semiconductors field. o If, by chance, no nominations are received, members of the IESA Executive Council could nominate visionaries worthy of the award. The same application form should be used for the nominations.
