Pre-quarter final rounds to be completed by Sunday 13 March 2016 (Host association named first): Eastern Counties V London Merseyside & Cheshire V TTW Midlands V NWR Quarter-finals to be completed by Sunday 20th March 2016 Western Counties V Home Counties Southern Counties V Eastern Counties + London East Midlands V Midlands + NWR Yorkshire V Merseyside & Cheshire + TTW North West Region Championship venue: The Light House, M50 1RE. Championship Draw will take place after the Pre Weigh in on Saturday 20th February. Boxers and Coaches do not have to attend, but all welcome. Semi-finals - Saturday 2 April Finals - Sunday 3 April VENUE: Mountbatten Leisure Centre, Alexandra Park, Portsmouth PO2 9QA The England Boxing Junior Championship is contested in adherence with the rules governing AIBA AOB and directives and policies and procedures issued by England Boxing Ltd.

Further information:

1. The England Boxing Junior Championship is open to boxers born in 2000 and 2001. The England Boxing Junior Cadet Championship is open to boxers born in 2001 only. The England Boxing Junior Cadet Championship does not form part of the international talent pathway.

2. Entrants must have had a minimum of two competitive bouts prior to entry into the championships.

3. Boxers may enter through one Regional Association only.

4. The boxer’s medical card must be produced at the initial weigh-in and at all subsequent rounds.

5. Boxers may transfer weight category up until the initial weigh-in. His/her weight at the initial weigh-in will determine the category s/he will box in. Boxers cannot change weight category after the initial weigh-in.

6. All entry forms must be filled in accurately and honestly. Entry forms must be correctly signed.

7. By allowing a boxer to enter the championships, the boxer’s parent / guardian is deemed to have consented to any official video recording and photography, and to allow the boxer’s name, photographs and video footage to be used in for publicity purposes.

8. During the two hour weigh-in period, boxers may have as many check-weighs as required. However, boxers are allowed to lose a maximum weight of: Up to 50kg - 300g / Up to 62kg - 500g / Over 62kg - 700g

9. There will be a weight allowance from the pre-quarter final round onwards: Up to 50kg - 300g / Up to 62kg - 500g / Over 62kg - 700g

10. Boxers and coaches are reminded that these championships are to anti-doping regulations.

11. The scoring machine (computer) should be used for all rounds of the championship.

12. If there is no opponent for a boxer at the national final, the boxer can only be awarded the national title if they have boxed in an earlier round.

13. An entry fee of £5 must accompany each application.
