The purpose of this assignment is to assess your understanding of the principles and values in health and social care, (adults, children and young people) early years and childcare.

Scenario

You have been asked to help with a promotion campaign to boost new employees’ consciousness of the principles and values that underpin work in health, social care and childcare and to emphasise the importance of respecting individuals who use these services.

Task 1

Produce a poster, leaflet, fact sheet or web page, which highlights the principles and values of working in health, social care and childcare. It should:

 identify the principles and values that underpin work in health and social care with adults, children and young people and in early years and childcare  identify at least four relevant examples of guidance and standards that underpin the principles and values

Task 2

Produce a portfolio of information for the campaign, which could be used as material for talks or presentations, website promotion or advertising. Your portfolio could include information or fact sheets, PowerPoint slides, posters, web pages or other suitable formats, which could be used to promote health, social care and childcare. Your portfolio should:
