Interested Knights please contact Bro. Tony. 2. Please sell the Chicken Plate tickets. Plate includes Chicken, rice, beans, potato salad, bread, jalapenos, and pickles. Chicken plates will be sold at the KC Hall on Saturday, July 25 from 11 am to 2 pm. Volunteers are needed to marinate chickens the night before and on the day of the sale starting early morning and going through clean up. The Father’s Day Raffle was financially successful, but not as much as normal. We need to make sure we raise the funds in order for us to successfully complete all of our service activities and causes. 3. Donate a brisket. We are one of the few organizations that donates 100 percent of the proceeds to the church from Fiesta food booth sales. We provide everything needed to sell brisket tacos. With brisket prices under ninety cents per pound, we have cleared the freezer for brisket donations. Buy a brisket and call Bro. Tony to open the hall. Donate two or more, and the Grand Knight will come to your home to pick up the briskets. Also, if you cannot make it to the store, you may donate funds to purchase briskets. 4. Budget. The initial vote on the budget passed without amendment. The second vote will take place at the next business meeting. Call Bro. Tony if you have questions or comments on the budget. 5. Father’s Day Raffle. $641.22 raised. Vince Gonzales from Marion won the cruise, David Gonzales from Kyle won the Schlitterbahn season passes, and our own Dr. Braden will enjoy the covered hammock. 6. Major degree upcoming. The next major degree is a one day event on August 2 in Kyle. 7. Football Frenzy. Help the Knights and maybe win money. Sell and play Football Frenzy. Please call Bro. Tony to check out Football Frenzy cards. Our council earns money off each card sold. 8. Breakfast. The next breakfast will be August 23. Please sell tickets when the tickets are distributed and volunteer your time to the fundraiser. 9. Christmas magnets. Five brothers have 44 magnets check out. Please help close this fundraiser. 10. Future Knights. Please share information about the Knights of Columbus with potential candidates.
