Forest Park Branch Post Office Open for Business in the Northtown Shopping Center

DAYTON OH – The Forest Park Branch Post Office is open for business at 4203 N. Main Street in the Northtown Shopping Center.

The new location provides the community a high level of service in an upgraded, modern facility with 24-hour lobby access. The latest daily collection times for mail deposited inside the facility is 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. A drive-up mail collection box located in the parking lot adjacent to the Northtown Shopping Center sign provides added customer convenience. The latest daily collection times for mail deposited at the drive-up collection box is 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Plans to relocate the office from 4200 Forest Park Mall Drive initiated following notification from the property owner that the lease would not be renewed. A public meeting held on May 15, 2014, at the Harrison Township Building, 5945 Dixie Drive, Dayton OH 45414, informed the community of the relocation plans.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
