Dressed up in a decorative container

Lohne/Germany in January 2009. – The new decorative container series MEDITERRA has been expanded. The larger sizes 35, 40, 45 and 50 cm - called PDG - complete the MEDITERRA range.

To describe the series as containers for cultivation would probably be correct but would not really reflect the mediterranean appearance. Plants in a decorative container are dressed up individual items that want to be shown and for that reason are optimally qualified for special presentation.

With the two-in-one effect of the decorative container, Pöppelmann addresses growers and retailers likewise. All decorative containers are equipped with the multi-hole star bottom, a feature highly accessed by nursery stock, shrub and pot plant growers due to the ideal 3-level irrigation and drainage.

In addition to that, the decorative containers with diameters of 17, 19 and 21 cm can excellently be used as a decorative cover pot in order to enhance the value of plants cultivated in TEKU growing containers. The pots of the series MCI for example will lock into the decorative container. The plant, the pot and the cover pot form a finished sale unit.

To present this series in a store is very easy. The impruneta-like color, the slightly convex shape and the relief decor create a mediterranean spirit. Lockable saucers for the sizes 35, 40, 45 and 50 cm grant stability even for top-heavy plants like popular stems. Vivid presentations in the retail stores with identical design can be created with different plant sizes and varieties.

The customer and sales staff benefit from the soft rim. Even larger planters can be carried easily. The additional range of single decorative containers in various sizes enables the consumer to decorate his indoor plants in uniform planters.
